Quick to take my deposit but still no sign off vehicle no updates dont return calls but I can select the same vehicle in a different colour for which they will charge me £100 per month more. This is not a professional company.

United Kingdom | 03 June 2024Having had my car delivered on Thursday (at 20;20) I noted that the mileage was wrong by over 7,500 miles. Having emailed Nationwide that evening (I couldn't get through on the phone as it was out of hours and was not made to sign a delivery note even though I asked multiple times), I had no response. I called today (Monday), was sent around the houses to multiple different agencies in order to understand and fix the issue. On returning to Nationwide I spoke with Dave in customer service. Once again I explained my issue with the discrepancy in mileage, but was met with the most rude and dismissive display of 'customer service' I've ever encountered, even asking me 'so what do I want?'. They were condescending, patronising and spoke to me as if I was the cause of the problem. Not an ounce of responsibility, sympathy or care was demonstrated for my situation and I was simply told to get on with it regardless of the fact that I had been miss-sold a car with far higher mileage than I had initially agreed to. Eventually Dave informed me that he had logged a complaint on my behalf which could take up to 8 weeks to investigate. When I attempted to clarify the details with them for the complaint including the exact milage advertised and delivered, I was told that they did not matter and therefore have little faith that the complaint will be taken seriously. Very disappointed that I am at the start of a 3 year leasing contract with Nationwide, doesn't fill me with hope for future interactions with them and will not be using them once this lease has finished.

Even when giving back the cars process is simple and the calculation of any minor damage is always reasonable. I find the cost of the leases to be competitive.

United Kingdom | 29 May 2024My initial order was placed back in January, but it was subsequently cancelled due to a multiple delays. Now, with a new order and despite being reassured that a car was in stock, I am facing the same issues again. This is unacceptable and can only be described as false advertising! The communication from the sales consultant has been subpar, often resembling informal text messages. Moreover, my name has been misspelled multiple times, with one email containing five incorrect spellings and no apology. This lack of attention to detail and care demonstrates a significant lapse in due diligence. I cannot stress enough how unprofessional this process has been. The lack of clear communication and the prolonged delays in the delivery process have made this entire experience highly frustrating. If a car is advertised as in stock, there should be a clear and anticipated delivery date provided by your dealers. Expectations should be managed accordingly. The current lack of information and transparency is unacceptable. Update! 21st June 2024 My new car was scheduled for delivery today between 9 AM and 5:30 PM. Despite being assured of a callback from the driver twice since 2 PM, I have not received any updates. When I contacted your customer representatives, as instructed in your email, I found their tone dismissive. They repeatedly shifted the responsibility onto the dealers, and overall, the interactions felt unprofessional, unhelpful and no empathy. You mentioned in your previous response that an investigation would take place, but I have not received any updates. The past six months of following up on this issue have been incredibly frustrating and exhausting. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Nationwide and advise others to avoid using your service! It almost 8pm and I still don’t have the car I paid for including paid insurance for. I’ve also lost a days paid work. I’ve wasted 6 months and all of today waiting - completely unfair.

United Kingdom | 28 May 2024Very disappointing service from Nationwide Vehicle Contracts. I called over a week ago to discuss ending my contract under the voluntary termination process. I was advised to send an email. We had an acknowledgement on the morning of 20th May to say email received, turnaround of 3-5 working days. Today I called and was told by the call handler that they haven't received my email and that she'd never heard of a voluntary termination. I'm now back to the waiting game. Very poor.

Amazing service from Claire Donahue who honoured a quote despite a price increase in the interim. United Kingdom | 20 May 2024Do not use this company to lease a car,we was told the car is in stock only have to wait no longer than 4 weeks,on the 6th week still no car so we complained because we needed a second car,said we might have to cancel because its been longer to what they said.so they took it up on themselves to cancel our car and gave it to another customer..now im fighting them to get my deposit back. Believe me this company is in no rush to give us our money back..jokers
