Tod Crowe was our sales representative. This is the second security system we have purchased from Vector. I did not even look at any other vendors for the second system because our first experience was so positive.

The installer we very professional. Took his time to explain everything. We are very happy and look forward to a long relationship. Touch ID for the iPhone is great. I have stopped carrying a house key.

United States | 09 July 2015I am a single woman, first time home owner in the Richmond city area. I celebrated a year anniversary in my home, then two months later experienced an attempted break-in. I was very rattled and was referred to Vector security by my parents who live in Moseley (FoxCreek). My entire experience with Vector security from the point of referral has been exemplary. John Hetzer (Vector Security representative) met me at my home (on time!) and provided identification when I forgot to ask. He spent at least an hour with me examining my home and answering all of my questions. He also provided suggestions to make my home more safe for my pet--suggestions that would not benefit the company (Vector) monetarily, but rather give me peace of mind in a very hectic time. I felt incredibly at ease with John, and I'm typically skeptical of big name representatives. On the day of installation, George and Andrew (technicians) arrived on time and completed installation well within the two hour time slot. They also went above and beyond to explain the system, iPhone app, and website on my laptop. Friendly and efficient service. I can't say enough good things about my experiences with Vector Security. My parents have also been customers for several years now and have never had an issue. Thank you, Vector Security!

United States | 04 July 2015Unfortunately, our home was broken into before we had a security system. When I called Vector, I was very nervous given that experience. We worked with Ben Palumbo who came to meet with us very quickly to determine what we needed. He was excellent. The gentleman who installed the system was polite and patient as he taught me how to use it. We had to have one of our motion sensors repositioned and the person who came to do that was also very polite and helpful. Any time I have called to ask questions, everyone has been very polite, friendly and helpful. I would recomend them to anyone!

I thought everything was going along just fine until I had a problem. first I had to wait for about three weeks for a tech. the afternoon before the tech is supposed to come they change the time frame of their visit. Now I have to cancel appointments to accommodate the change. That's just not good business.

United States | 18 June 2015Vector has provided good service over the years. They solved or helped me solve problems with the system. Watch out. If you need a service call to replace a sensor, etc, you're going to pay for it. I found out the hard way. Also, if you go from hard wired phone service to VOIP, you will need a wireless box and will end up paying more for it. I found that out the hard way, too. I changed and when my box showd no signal, I called the Office and they explained it. They did take care of the problem in a professional manner. The touch screen box works well. Every so often, the system will arm itself. This makes life interesting at times. If I discover it, I just turn it off. So far, I have not had any uninvited minions of the law visiting me.

United States | 17 June 2015I've had no break ins which would be a real test of Vector's performance, but I have faith that they would respond if needed. All the equipment has worked great. Staff has called when I inadvertently shut off the power w/o letting them know.. I am pleased with the contract length and price. We'll see how I feel when renewal time comes up :)
