Credit personnel are supposed to be on top of collectibles, but yours are over the top. Stopped even responding to any messages I receive from them.

United States | 01 May 2015I have 2 accounts with Vector and previously was with American Alert. The customer service and experience with American Alert out of Geneva, OH was outstanding. One of my accounts is for my 89 year old mother-in-law who wears a pendant. American Alert called her each month and did a system test to assure us that the pendant was functioning and was not in need of a battery replacement. We don't enjoy that same level of service with Vector, I am sorry to say.

United States | 29 April 2015In the past year when Vector Security came out to address an issue they tried to present a sales pitch. I have been with Vector for 31years and I found this highly insulting. They are trying to have their workman pitch products. It has been happening the last couple of years. I called and complained about their new pushy practices. They should go back to their old customer service, instead of trying to make up potential issues. I hesitate to call them again because I know I will not get the whole truth. Overall I lost my confidence in the company. Once again another company about the numbers not the customers.

United States | 29 April 2015I was not home when installed. My mother was here. I have never even used the alarm once. I have had for over a year. I also work in the service field and am aware that I signed a 2 year contract probably cannot cancel. There was no follow up call or any call thanking or asking me if I know how to arm or use the system. To this day I do not know how to use.. Too Late to show me now. As soon as my contract is up I will cancel. I do not believe I need. The signs in the yard are good enough for me.

United States | 28 April 2015Since signing up for Vector Security, I have had very few problems. Whenever the alarm has gone off (security or smoke), my wife or I have been contacted in very little time. If there were system issues, the service team was quick to schedule an appointment and make the needed repairs. My only issues were with the system itself being dependent on a landline instead of cellular, but the previous homeowners had the system installed. Similarly, more remote control (mobile, web) would be nice. I'm told that this is also available for an additional fee, but my review is based on the system as I had it.
