Unfortunately the fault that existed with the Intruder Alarm System was not remedied, and it is still a source of difficulty using the front door entrance. The alarm activates as we leave via the front door, the only way to avoid this we have to leave via the back door (through the kitchen).

Then had to wait a couple of months to do the service. So how's that going to work out for next time? Bill me in September and come in February? I feel like I'm being stitched up.

I spent hours on the phone being passed from one technician to another, finally left hanging on for 15 minutes, before line went dead.Called again next day with similar results and poor communication. Engineer unable to re-attend to correct their error for 7 days. Not what they were and after 25+years with Banhams I'm looking to change provider. The only problem is Banhams use their own equipment which would all have to be changed.My complaint is not so much the engineer mis-setting the alarm but the appalling communications and back up service to correct the error.

United Kingdom | 18 January 2025The after installation service since having a house alarm fitted almost 18 months ago has been appalling. They didn’t contact me for the annual service (which I pay monthly for), so I tried to phone. They consistently kept me holding on the phone line for 25-35 mins, then saying they would call back within 24 hours which didn’t happen. On the automated callback system I never received a callback. Continually being told a ‘system’ problem. Extremely frustrated, I really don’t know where to go from here..
