I am just so happy we can test our dogs to help us improve the health of our future generations. I do question the results of one of my tests though. It said my puppy is a powder puff but he was clearly hairless at birth and has hairless teeth. So not sure about the accuracy of this one

As a breeder, I use Paw Print Genetics often. I’ve always had great experiences and such friendly help when I’ve needed to call. This last time was a bit more complicated with dogs in different locations even though I’d submitted the request as if they were all close by. After calling and explaining the situation everything worked out perfectly.

Prompt communication when I contacted customer service with questions. It took almost 5 weeks to get the results. I'm located in Alberta, Canada. Results are easy to read. Thank You!

I've used pawprints for years and was very happy. This last experience was a disappointment. Customer service was rude when I asked for help. The process took way too long, with no prior warning that things had changed, which made me unable to make the good, informed decisions needed for the litter I was working with. I'm seriously considering changing who I use in the future.

Fine organization

This company was known for accuracy, a broad depth of tests and customer service. Since November/December of 2023, I have had nothing but issues. Their merle testing is completely unreliable. They are coming back with "no results" for super simple tests. There is zero communication and when you do speak to someone they say "they are at the mercy of the swabs they receive". Basically implying we are sending bad samples. They have extended the length of time to receive tests, then miss those dates. Honestly, they are way too expensive for poor customer service, very slow service and erroneous results.

It took almost 4 weeks to get the results, and i believe i only got them because i called and complained. Otherwise it may have been even longer

As a preservationist breeder, I always use Paw Prints for my genetic testing. They are effective and efficient with all of my testing needs.

WAY TOO SLOW. BEFORE YOU WERE ACQUURED IT TOOK 10 BUSINESS DAYS (2 WEEKS). NOW OVER 20 BUSINESS DAYS/1 MONTH. AT YOUR CURENT SNAIL'S PACE, TO HAVE PUPS DNA TESTED, SAMPLES WOULD HAVE TO BE SWABBED PRE-PUPPY WEANING WHILE THEIR MOUTHS WOULD CONTAIN THEIR MOTHER'S DNA MILK. AND OVERLY EXPENSIVE. UNACCEPTABLE.

The kit arrived quickly . I swabed and sent it back asap but there was a long lull between receiving it and running the test.

I haven’t printed yet but results were when promised.

It did take a while for the test to get here..but overall the service is good and the turnaround right on time from when they said testing would be completed

Kept me informed of the status of my samples and emailed me once my test results were ready. Results are super easy to read. I will definitely be using paw print genetics for all my genetic testing for all my breeding dogs!
