United Kingdom | 20 May 2020Absolute disgrace. 10 weeks later no refund no contact no replies to any communication. If you book a holiday with this shower of two bob bits you only yourself to blame. Utter scum. And that’s polite.

United Kingdom | 20 May 2020Do not use these people. If you have waited more than 2 weeks for your refund . MAKE A CLAIM ON LINE TO THE SMALL CLAIMS COURT. after there reply to me about contacting them on regards to my lack of a refund a d poor customer service. I tried calling them again (obviously nobody can get through as they don't answer )and emailed them at least a dozen times they continue to fob me off . just to add insult to injury one of there directors other companies phoned me to ask if I'd like to book my holiday with them . One of there directors is a councillor and living a life of luxury while the little person gets robbed ,just so the directors can maintain there lifestyle.

India | 19 May 2020Citrus Holidays organised my trip in Kerala to perfection. Everything ran like clockwork. Guides knowledge of all the places we visited was excellent, driver we had was very good and a very jolly person. The representatives of the company in India were faultless and made sure I was in the right place at the right time with quiet efficiency. Great hotels good quality and high level of service. Nothing was too much trouble as far as Citrus was concerned. All fantastic experiences made all the more possible by our lovely guide Abhilash his knowledge and personality made our tour the best experience and we thank him for that, Would certainly use Citrus Holidays again for future holidays.

United States | 18 May 2020Citrus Holidays had to cancel my trip and even though the contract provided for a full and prompt refund in the event they had to cancel because of an epidemic or pandemic - good luck trying to get your refund. They won't even respond. Notice that the "Customer Care" person doesn't offer to contact the people with complaints. They don't give a name or a phone number either. Just email them so they can continue to ignore you. No thanks.

United Kingdom | 14 May 2020Due to the Covid crisis, our holiday was cancelled.... However, despite under the fact that under the package travel regulations, we were entitled to a refund for the holiday that never took place, citrus travel completely ignored our requests for a refund and insisted on offering a holiday voucher. I refused the voucher probably a dozen times, insisting that I wanted our money back, only to find one evening at about 9:30 pm they actually emailed me the holiday credit voucher! I immediately emailed them back saying I didn’t want the voucher, they then offered me a part refund saying they had to keep a percentage of my money for “administrative purposes“ In the end I had to claim my money back through my bank Dreadful experience

United Kingdom | 10 May 2020My wife and I had a fantastic holiday in Southern India in January. The flights and the hotels along with the itinery were first class. The individual transport by car was excellent and the driver was polite knowledgeable and courteous. Would definitely recommend this holiday by Citrus.

United Kingdom | 09 May 2020I was due to travel to India with Citrus on the 20th March 20, all flights cancelled, visas cancelled by indian gov on the 18th. i have asked for a refund several times told to wait 4-6weeks, we just want a refund, fed up of the merry go round you are putting us through just to get our refund.

United Kingdom | 07 May 2020I would give 6 stars if possible. Once again Citrus came up with an amazing itinerary at a great price. We had not intended to make this trip to Costa Rica, rather had been thinking of going to the Peak District with the caravan for a few days walking. But we hadn't booked anything as the weather looked so miserable. Over lunch as we were discussing it ‘ping’ an email dropped from Citrus with details of trip to Panama and Costa Rica .... always fancied there I said to my husband .... nice and warm ..... fabulous itinerary ..... all of a sudden we were going! And what a trip. This is our 5th Citrus holiday, each better than the last. And this time I think it was improved as I didn't have time to research and set expectations - we just let the adventure unfold. As ever the success was a well paced itinerary, with plenty of rest time in between legs of journey (unlike many others we have seen), comfortable hotels in exactly the right locations and always someone to meet you when they should, where they should, with your name printed out and a big welcoming smile. We cannot fault the seamlessly executed often complex arrangements - which is so important to give you confidence when travelling to far flung places. We finished off with some extra nights on the Pacific Ocean, in a stunning hotel (free upgrade as is often the case in our experience) -and thank goodness we had this holiday at this time, as we returned just days before all countries and flights were locked down. How lucky we were.

Canada | 30 April 2020I would give it a five if my refund had been handled sooner. There should be less then a week to get refunded.

United Kingdom | 26 April 2020We did the Malabar Coast Holiday in Kerala India. The tour was amazing and the driver Vish was very knowledgeable and experienced. Bit disappointed with some of the hotels as they were of quite a low standard and had a few cold showers as no hot water. We stayed in the a lovely Farm Rasa Gurukul, Chalakudy but the bed was so hard we both didnt get any sleep.Chera Rocks, Thottada beach,Kannur was a beautiful location but had to walk quite a bit to get there through steep hill (not for elderly or disabled). The hut was very basic with cold water .Overall we had a lovely holiday and for us it was the driver who made sure we enjoyed our experience so all credit to Vish.

Jersey | 22 April 2020Mel who I have been dealing with has been extremely helpful despite these very difficult times for us all. The holiday was a special anniversary and we have been able to move this from April to October at additional costs.

United Kingdom | 18 April 2020i went on Royal Rajasthan Heritage Tour in March this year. The organisation, hotels, driver and local representative were very good. Hotels were good, particularly Vivaana in Mandawa and Rawla Narlai in Narlai. The driver, Pratap was very good, always polite, on time and car was kept clean and water provided every day. Sshuhul was my contact in India, he came and met me in New Delhi at start of tour and was always available to contact. A busy tour which enables you to see so much. Fast paced and tiring at times but definitely worth it. Rajasthan is busy and a blast to all your senses, go with an open mind and embrace it all. I went during Holi fesitval, worth choosing that time of year to go. A couple of negatives : the tour guides almost always took you to a shop/demonstration etc which meant they wanted you to buy something there. I found this uncomfortable and learnt to say no I don't want to go. Also if doing the Sand dunes trip in Jaisalmer then it is a camel ride to sunset - they take you early and then try and sell a jeep safari, ask to go slightly later so you are not sitting around. A call to Sshuhul rectified my problem with this though. Overall a fabulous trip though and luckily I came back just before Covoid shut the country down.

United Kingdom | 13 April 2020Fantastic holiday in India February this year with Citrus holidays. Put 2 trips together, The Golden Triangle then tagged on a Southern tour. Absolutely wonderful experience. Both tours were in a private car with driver. Just loved the whole adventure, Citrus & their partners in India were fantastic. Very well organised, great hotels & visits. Tour guides all arranged for us too. We will definitely be returning to India in the future & with Citrus!!

United Kingdom | 12 April 2020Terrible response to the Covid outbreak. Refusing any refund, requesting £500 more from us to reschedule. Attempting to intimidate my partner during phone conversation, ignoring emails, acting above the law around package travel regulations. Avoid like the plague (no pun intended), these guys are woeful. Actually quoted ABTA (they are ATOL registered) around the issue of a voucher and then failed to follow the guidelines. They've sent us a pdf of a voucher which looks like it was drawn in crayon. The standard response will no doubt follow. This company have failed miserably to look after their stranded passengers, their disappointed cancelled trip holders and are an example of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. This would be laughable if it hadn't left my hard working partner in tears. We are both keyworkers and have worked on throughout the outbreak, if only the same could be said for these jokers. Shameful neglect!

United Kingdom | 09 April 2020As I didn't go due to Coronavirus why fo you bother to ask!

Canada | 07 April 2020We are right in the heart of Covid-19 and obviously not able to travel. This company is appalling. Our trip cost us 5,000! They will not respond with anything other than an automated message. Terrible customer service. They seem to respond here, but they never bother to respond to their customers. This was a holiday booked for a very special occasion and we saved for this. To lose any part of that 5,000 now is devastating in the midst of all this.
