My personal experience using Citrus Holidays has been fantastic from the time of booking to completing my amazing trip to Kerala, India. The booking agent was most helpful especially with arranging suitable flights to coincide with tour itinerary. Our driver/companion Titus was simply the best. Lovely, kind person who bent over backwards to accommodate our every wish! Our tour around Kerala was varied, a great experience to be in the mountains one day amongst the tea plantations and on the beach and cruising the backwaters a couple of days later Very relaxing and no early pick ups which was a great plus! I have never used Citrus Holidays previously but based on this trip would have no hesitation using them again. If you are seeking a trip with lots of variety, a good standard of accommodation and opportunity to sample some delicious Indian dishes, this could be the trip for you.

My husband found a really good deal for Us to spend Valentines at Riga for 3 nights. When I called the travel advisor Victor answered the phone. He was cortetious, efficient and very patient given that when he explained to me the new luggage policy of Ryanair I started shouting and cursing over phone. At Ryanair not Victor. We had to have laugh in the end because the deal was really good and that is the only airline that flies with the deal.

Fantastic service, I had to move my holidays and Abigail moved things around so it was possible at minimal cost.

We have just returned from Kerala having been on a Citrus tour package. What a great experience we were met at the airport by our driver Lalichan who stayed with us for the complete trip. He was always punctual, nothing was too much trouble and always with a big smile. We started in Cochin, went to Munnar and Thekkady on to the Alleppey backwaters for a houseboat tour and then to the beach for the last few days. Everything promised in the brochure happened plus a lot more. I heartily recommend the Kerala tour package.

Sanjeev has been very polite, provided all relevant information, responded quickly and efficiently with the issues I raised. He has good knowledge of the tour we booked, documents delivered quickly once the booking was confirmed.

This is the 2nd time I have used Citrus in the past month to book my 2 short summer breaks next year. On both occasions I have dealt with ABIGAIL-I have found her to be very friendly, polite and above all very efficient and informative-would highly recommend her and Citrus

Holiday appears good value for money compared to other providers offering a similar product. The representative went out of her way to sort out flights to suit me and holiday documents and confirmation were sent promptly and give a full itinerary. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is the request for 50% of the cost to be paid up front and no option for any refund in the event of cancellation.

So far we have only put down a deposit for the winter golden triangle holiday but Jim has been absolutely fantastic, helpful, professional, friendly and never put any pressure on us to book, he went out his way to look for all the combination fights I needed without a fuss. I would highly recommend Jim as an agent and would love him to look into my next holiday. Thank you Jim, I will review again after the holiday. But if you get a chance ask for Jim!

Thank you Citrus Holidays I became aware of this holiday through Travel Zoo. I contacted the company by telephone and the operative couldn't have been more helpful. Shaun was aware that the flights were not the best times and located more preferable flights for me.

Be very careful when booking with Citrus. Returned from Nepal and India following unacceptable experience. Each hotel we were down graded and you must check your itinerary carefully as it did not reflect the truth with travel times of 11 hrs/ 8 hrs and 9hrs not 41/2hrs/ 1 1/2 hrs as stated in pack.. airports fly internally between each destination taking around 20-30 mins but not given this as an option. You can do better yourselves. I have sent all details of experience including photos but still waiting reply. Travelzoo prompt reply and looking into the issues and at least I feel that they are concerned unlike Citrus

Just returned from a most enjoyable Citrus Holiday in Southern India and Kerala. So many memorable experiences from the hustle and bustle of Bangalore, the colonial history of Mysore, the delightful scenery of the tea plantations and market gardens of Ooty, early morning and nighttime nature treks with leeches and frogs in the rainforests of the Western Ghats, the Dutch history in Cochin and its Chinese fishing nets, our very own overnight houseboat with a crew of 3 on the fascinating backwaters of Alleppey and three days of amazing beach experiences in Kovalam, including two teams of 40+ villagers in tug-of-war style, hauling a massive net full of fish from the sea onto the beach, massive jelly fish and a large aerie of Eagles taking small fish off the water. Hotels all good, with wide ranges of Indian dishes to savor and such friendly staff all going the extra mile to make you feel so welcome. Tour itinerary well organized with excellent guide support provided when necessary. The star of the trip was Titus, our personal chauffeur, who provided vast amounts of information concerning the landmarks, the people, the local economy, the political and religious situation, the plants and trees, whilst also stopping regularly for us to sample the fruit, sweets and savories. The “Toddy Shop” and “Afternoon Tea in a side street Chai Shop” in Cochin were memorable highlights. Titus’s co-stars were the many local Indian people we met who went out of their way to want to talk and be so very friendly! Be warned the traffic volumes and style of driving in India is not for the feint hearted and upgrading the car is recommended as the tour essentially covers long distances to see everything. Upgrading to Emirates flights is also recommended, the holiday still being excellent value. Polite message for Citrus Holidays also, no point in sending out advice on how to complete your visa application only 3 days before the flight, whilst we shouldn’t have been needing to send a reminder about sending our e-flight tickets at the same time! A truly memorable holiday, thank you Titus for looking after us so well, thank you Citrus Holidays for organizing such a great experience.
