They are giving complimentary holiday voucher for some ppl. Which is totally fraud I say. Resort only 2 adults and 2 kids allowed it seems , also the cleaning /maintenance charge which cost around 1500 -3000rs.

I recently booked a holiday through Citrus Holidays and, despite some ups and downs, everything worked out in the end. There were delays and complications due to COVID, but they eventually honoured their commitments and organised a well-planned trip. The process wasn’t without frustration and required persistence, but the end result was a fantastic holiday. Overall, I appreciate their efforts in delivering on their promises despite the challenges. Would recommend with some caution. Four stars!

Avoid Citrrus Holidays that is under the umbrella of Benz Travel like the plague . I booked and paid in full a holiday to Thailand , Vietnam and Cambodia for my friend and I in January 2020 . We chose to fly home Business class which pushed the holiday cost to £6,227 in total . Holiday was booked for 30th March 2020 . Unfortunately due to the Corona Virus Pandemic we went into Lockdown on 23rd March , exactly one week before booked holiday . COVID caused my holiday to be cancelled !!!! Once travel resumed after the Pandemic , Citrus informed me that the holiday had increased by £337 per person but any further increase would be capped and in their own words “they would take the hit” . I agreed to this increase as the World had reopened and prices had risen , thankfully I didn't actually pay it . This price cap did not happen though ! The person dealing with my booking left Citrus/ Benz and someone else took over dealing with my booking . HE then informed me of TWO further increases totalling more than £2,000 , (yes TWO THOUSAND POUNDS) which had to be paid in order to keep the same booking. I was furious and demanded a full refund but Benz would only refund. £5,500 as I cancelled the holiday ! Seriously ? Covid was the reason the holiday was cancelled . Legally a company can only put a maximum increase of 8% on a holiday after it has been paid , anything above 8% one is legally allowed a FULL refund . My holiday had a 34% increase ! My Travel insurance got involved and got Lawyers on my the case , Benz had previously offered a partial refund as previously mentioned , the Lawyers came up with the solution to accept the £5,500 and Insurers would cover the shortfall . Benz Travel would not co operate , they accepted this agreement but they still wouldn’t pay up . Lawyers did give ultimatums to take Court action but were ignored . I think Benz Travel thought by ignoring me and Lawyers that we would give up and go away ! EVENTUALLY my Lawyer got tough and informed Benz Travel Court proceedings were to be issued , Benz Travel realised that Lawyers meant business and finally got their act together and issued a Bank Draft . Yesterday ,Wednesday 18th September 2024 the long awaited money was paid to my Lawyers . Please read other reviews . I would not want anyone to go through the anguish I endured trying to get back my money . Awful company.

We too had our money stolen from us. Same story as so many others who were trying to take a vacation in Greece. Makes me angry and sad to have trusted and lost so much money. Can we all somehow sue them together?

Citrus is now out of business so I sincerely doubt that there will be any refunds coming to any of the masses that were cheated out of their holiday money. People in the UK received some refunds but only after taking an legal court action that sounds like the equivalent of small claims count in Canada. Unfortunately, without a UK address, this is not a viable option for people that live outside of the UK.

Paid $15,000 for a trip in 2019. Been strung along for 3 years with "your refund is in the que". Haven't received a dime refund and now they do not respond to texts.

Citrus holidays cancelled a trip in 2020 and they still won't give me a refund. Illegal theft as far as I am concerned. Do you really want to book a trip where this is their corporate culture?

Still waiting for refund from trip booked during Covid. Get the same response as others about being in the queue bla-bla-bla. They don't even respond to my e-mails anymore. Waiting for 3 yrs now. Does anyone know how to go thru their court system to get my money back. I am in Canada. I wouldn't book anything thru these guys

In November 2019, we booked a holiday with Citrus Holidays (10 Nights Greek Treasure Trail) to be held from May 8 to 19, 2020. Unfortunately, because of COVID-19, this holiday had to be cancelled. We later received a credit voucher from Benz Travel which could be used to re-book a new holiday or could be cashed in on or after August 31, 2020. On that date, we advised Citrus Holidays that we wanted a CASH refund. We have been sending them emails every month since then and they always reply with the same answer: "We have checked with accounts and they have advised us that your booking is in queue for processing and will be done soon". WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR OUR REFUND 36 MONTHS LATER!!! P.S. If it was possible, I would give the NO STAR (none)!

Zero customer support once the package had been booked. We were told we would receive a refund and 2 years later ended up having to go through our credit card company to retrieve the money. They are also a series of sub-companies and their website is no longer functional. I wouldn't recommend using them.

Me and my friends had booked to go to Thailand/Cambodia/Vietnam pre covid. Of course with flights restrictions we waited over 2yrs to go on this holiday. Citrus kept in touch the whole time. Our holiday was amazing. Someone was waiting in every airport to escort and guide us through our journey. We couldn't have planned the journey ourselves in the time we had there. Thank you Citrus for a excellent service 💓

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. Booked a trip in February 2020 and they cancelled it due to the pandemic. Chased them around for a refund for 2 years receiving many promises to refund me. I called Visa Fraud and they said the statute of limitations had expired. Citrus clearly knew what they were doing amongst the COVID confusion. They stole from me. Nothing short of that. Not a credible company! Run!!

To make it short - Booked in Sep 2019 for May 2020, Greek Treasure trail Then COVID, Trip cancelled, got Refund Credit Note (RCD) $4,000 Booked again using RCD for Sep 2021, COVID flared up, cancelled, got another RCD Finally booked for April 2023 using RCD and paid another $432. Had an amazing trip, everything worked like a well oiled machine. They kept their promises, stuck with us, and providing one of the most relaxing vacations.

I had a really good experience with citrus but that was before the pandemic. The execution of the tours was fantastic and everything worked Like clockwork. Tour guide always on time. Friendly. We were in Kerala and every hotel was lovely, immaculate and the food really good. For those of you that are struggling to get your money back do contact ABTA and ATOL. That's what they are there for. Use them.

We had to cancel due to covid, were promised a full refund and 18 months later we're still waiting for it. We keep chasing but we get the same response that it's been passed to their credit organisation. Over £5000 they're keeping, money which does not belong to them and for which they have purchased nothing on my behalf.

We booked a Budapest, Prague, Vienna before the Pandemic hit. The trip was cancelled and it's been over than TWO YEARS and to date we have not received our Refund. This company is a Scam.

We booked with Citrus for a tour of Peru/Chile/Argentina/Brazil. Having flights and accommodation booked but relying on being met by reps/transfers at each airport and hotel was a wee bit scary for a couple of oldies, but everything worked out perfectly, with no problems at all. So we went back to Citrus for our next tour on a similar basis, but this time to Thailand/Cambodia/VietNam/Singapore. And once again, not a single hiccup, apart from a 2 year delat due to COVID! Everything was arranged perfectly and once again we had an excellent holiday. Thank you Citrus

If we could give this organization -10 stars, we would. We booked travel (3 travellers) and paid over $10K CAD in Sept 2019. Pandemic hit, we were patient and tried to rebook but cancelled many times due to travel restrictions. Feb 3, 2021 after many many months of requesting refund, they agreed to a full refund. They then stalled in many ways, advising they were "chasing accounts" (who the hell is accounts??!!) for our money. They said that they had requested a refund from Air Canada on May 24, 2021, we have confirmation Air Canada refunded them April 6, 2020. They then asked for SWIFT banking information to deposit payment (refusing to refund our original payment type which was Visa). Fast forward to Feb 28, 2022 (after we got a lawyer involved) the lawyer Anita Hoxha with Citrus Holidays Legal, advised a refund would be issued. Here we are Oct 28, 2022, 3 years from booking the travel and 20 months after being promised a refund, with nothing. There are no phone numbers, no one calls you back, don't reply to emails. They are liars, have essentially stollen our funds (confirmation that Air Canada refunded them for our tickets, which they have not refunded us). We never travelled to Ecuador... and we would strong advise no one give this company or their parent company, Benz Travel, a single dime of money. DO NOT TRAVEL WITH THIS ORGANIZATION.

We purchased a trip package from Citrus holidays: Budapest Vienna & Prague, scheduled to start 22 March 2020. due to pandemic, this trip was cancelled. They told us to refund us the expense about two and half years ago, we have not received the refund, it is about two years. They don't even reply to our emails anymore, just ignore us

from the outset it is hard to understand how the booking works. foreign call centre who treats the call like a everyday call not a professional holiday call centre, poor information sent over in emails, flight booking has a reference number which does not work - trying to contact person made booking with and all that I get is see attached information. Despite cheapish holiday the hassle before you get to go on the holiday is not worth it. Poor experience - hopefully you can use this feedback to improve the service as on the face of it you have some inspirational holiday offers
