United Kingdom | 31 January 2025My husband suddenly started to have intermittent hearing in one ear - I called into Hidden Hearing in Eastbourne, imagining that the hearing aid had a problem. BUT no, within 10 minutes Gaye had tested the aid, replaced the cable, renewed the dome and it worked perfectly again. Amazingly quick, professional and helpful service, and not for the first time either. This branch is superb - highly recommend !

I now have the aids that I need and have very much enjoyed the discussion of which direction to take. This is made to measure audiology for me. I tell Darren what I need and he produces it...and he does not try to sell me something that he know I do not want. Please Darren, don't leave because I'm very fussy as to whom I do business with!

The next appointment he fitted my hearing aids and explained what to expect and how to look after them. He also arranged a follow up appointment and reassured me of his personal attention. A very pleasant young man.

United Kingdom | 30 January 2025I would first of all say thankyou hidden hearing for giving me my life back, I thought I would never hear properly again but the experience at hidden hearing showed me that yes I could hold a complete conversation with my grandchildren, I could join in on conversations that I had previously taken a back seat, I did not have to have the tv volume up so high. And again I thought paying for them was not going to be easy but I was wrong, payments were easy, and it was easy to find a plan that suited. Once again thankyou.Hidden Hearing.

The staff make you feel so comfortable and explain everything so well. I would thoroughly recommend them.

United Kingdom | 30 January 2025Good customer experience! I was impressed by the ease of booking the appointment and the care & attention taken by the audiologist. She spent 20 minutes or so listening to why I had referred myself for a test and my hearing needs and lifestyle. Then followed a comprehensive set of tests (similar to ones I had experienced in a hospital audiology department many years ago). I felt very much listened to and reassured by her manner. The only negative was a doctor in the next door room talking very loudly as I was doing one test (the testing was carried out at a health centre). But that soon stopped.

United Kingdom | 29 January 2025I purchased an Oticon hearing aid 5 years ago and received very satisfactory on going support. I was recently offered a 20%discount on an upgraded Oticon hearing aid so booked the Intent 1 which included a home hearing test prior to fitting plus a 2 year warranty. At that point I had been given no idea of the price and was stunned when told it was £6000 or £4799 including discount. I was aware that sites such as eBay advertised them considerably cheaper but cannot always be relied on to give a comparable service. I tried to see where HH advertised their prices on their website but they are surprisingly coy, just as they are when you speak to them direct. I do not like this lack of transparency and decided on an independent local audiologist offering the same model with the same benefits and even 5 years warranty at a much better price. I have also seen HH's advert about free hearing aids being available for those born before 1962 and whilst this is true through the NHS Hidden Hearing do not offer free hearing aids. Their advertising is somewhat misleading and their sales approach could potentially lead the unwary into spending far more than they need.
