A few years ago we needed a new heating system and opted for Greener energy company!They did a great job of changing our system from oil to air source heating and we have been delighted with this system!Every year they come and service the system and this it was done by Martin Lobjoie a highly skilled service engineer who talked us through the working stages of the system and advised us with questions we had on how best to take advantage of the air source way of life! Both my husband and I can,t thank this company enough and also the guys who originally installed the air source heating system not forgetting Martin Lobjoie who did a great service recently!

A very efficient service by Martin Lobjoie yesterday. Having the controls for the Air Source Heat Pump explained once again was very helpful! The house is warm and comfortable. This was so important when my husband was unwell last year.

Martin Lobjoie answered his phone after 5.00 o'clock when I got home to a cold house after a fortnight's absence. Our air source heat pump system had conked out days ago due to power cuts and I was stumped to what to do. I phoned Martin who kindly, patiently and expertly guided me on the phone what to do to get the system going again. Thanks so much!

Excellent annual service on our heat pump. Our engineer, Martin Lobjoie, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and went the extra mile in terms of re-explaining the system and tweaking it for optimum performance. He has visited a few times now and not only remembers us and the property but is able to help us tailor things for our needs.

First class service from all who work at Grenner Energy Group. The employees could not have been more friendly, kind and highly knowledgeable and professional. Work carried out to an exceptional standard and no mess left in property, great banter with the installers and felt very at ease. So glad I chose Greener Energy as my installer. Should have added had 12 solar panels and the attic work installed in under a day, next day house surveyed for heat loss for now air heat source pump, new radiators and a towel rail. Work to begin on 25th March, couldn’t be more efficient these guys fab !! Update after next stage Air source heat pump, 8 new radiators and towel rail installed as well as all the water cylinder and others needed in attic in the past 3 days. The lads worked through some pretty wintry weather installing the pump, hard working lads. Nothing was a bother to them, any issues they came across were discussed and solved very knowledgeable. My old gas boiler, water tank and radiators all taken away as was every piece of rubbish, very tidy workers and careful with your property. The office staff are exceptional as well nothing is an issue and they are all so helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Even the accounts department was efficient and reliable, I cannot rate this company highly enough, top quality workmanship.

I DO NOT RECOMMENDED!!!It was a total failure/disaster,the pump started heating properly after 4 months of installation,poor contact to management,hard to get any engineers o fix it,they made a simple mistakes(starting with the wrong measurements of the room's area)....referring to my previous opinion and the greener energy response:due to your inaccurate/wrong calculations of the beginning and the instalation on insufficient number of radiators(after almost 4 months you added two more radiators and changed two to a larger size)Your compensation was to cover our heating in winter time because the pump worked more to reach our temp(19 degrees) because you installed not enough and to small radiators,wchich resulted from an incorrect calculation...I took a several times annual leave to wait for engineers and several times you postponed job on this same day(once ,after my complaint you offered voucher to M&S)system working OK now,after 4 months stress and wasting time on your mistakes..I don't know how your company stayed on the market with that poor service.

It was all fiction, the savings promised never materialised and there has been a significant increase in my energy bills. The salesperson omitted to mention that technology beginning with H does not work with heat pumps, making monitoring difficult. The pump failed in the first month after installation, and various engineers have attended, but there is still a problem. I have been contacting the company since October 2023 about this issue. In January 2024, the company promised to send an engineer to investigate the issue. To date I have not had a response. They installed the pump within the stipulated timeframe, so I gave them a rating.

This is second part of my 2 part review of Greener Energy Group. Part one was earlier and for heat pump installation. This review is for the solar installation. The Scottish weather can be a bit brutal at this time of year, and the day of solar panel install was no exception, freezing cold and pending sleet showers - it would take a brave man to get up on a roof and face the elements on such a day - but on time and up for the job was Lee the roofer/panel installer. Between sleet and freezing temperatures, Lee beavered away on the roof fitting my 12 panels, how he survived up there I will never know :), I did check when things went quiet on the roof that he was indeed still alive and had not succumbed to hypothermia... but no he was fine! I did keep the mountain rescue number handy just in case the weather worsened :) - but Lee worked on and completed the job under less than ideal conditions - if Greener Energy read these reviews, then Lee should have a pay rise just for turning up that day! Panels fitted, next to follow swiftly on was Mike, the electrician. Mike had loads to do...connect panels, fit inverter, connect to my mains, fit 5kw battery in loft, fit EDDIE device ect, ect, Nothing was too much bother for Mike, when I asked him if he could hide the black cables going up the outside of my wall inside white conduit?, he did this without question - such a refreshing change to see such a 'can do' approach. Mike NEVER took the easy options - I asked if he could fit the EDDIE (power diverter) unit in my kitchen instead of where we planned in the garage, he immediately said "if that's where you want it, that's where I will fit it" (Such a great ambassador for your company!) The best part was Mike always kept me in the loop when fitting items, and the result is, I have a superbly installed system that I am entirely happy with. My earlier installed heat pump and now my solar with battery are working great and my home has never been so cozy - the solar is working superb, even for this time of year. I am so glad I went with Greener Energy and I wish you and your team all the best for the future

Air source heat pump just serviced again by Martin Lobjoie very professional and extremely helpful.

I recently had an air source heat pump, Solar and battery fitted to my 2016 build house. I can honestly say the whole experience was Very straight forward. The only delays to the process were my initial trepidation and awaiting government funding. Their sales pitch was informative and and I did not feel like I was being pressured into purchasing a product. I would say that greener energy’s customer service was genuinely excellent. I’ve never dealt with a company that kept me so up-to-date on what was happening and what was happening next. They were very helpful and led me through the processes of applying for government grants et cetera. Their after-sales department has also been very good so far. The whole process of the install was obviously quite daunting, however went ahead very smoothly over the duration that they said it would. All in all I have had a great experience with them and would gladly recommend them to others

Fast response to initial online enquiry, with comprehensive and 'non pushy' advice provided by Stephen Reilly when he visited. Regular updates prior to installation which happened when advised. Installation is very neat and my preferences for battery and inverter location taken into account. Thank you all

We have just had our installation of air source heat pump with hybrid boiler completed, the solar panels and battery were installed a few weeks earlier. We have been very pleased with whole installation, all completed in two days, one night only without gas, no loss of electricity or water. All the team were excellent and hard working, they cleared up and left everywhere clean and tidy. Since completion our house is warmer than it was with standard gas central heating, in fact we have turned the thermostat down!!

The Greener Energy Group installed a full air source heat pump (ASHP) with central heating, solar panels and storage battery at our house. We are delighted with the installation and the after care, we have received. Their technical ability and administration has been superb throughout. The system has a hot water tank which heats up from the ASHP. Laterally we moved to an Electric Vehicle tariff to allow us to charge our car and take advantage of low electricity rates for consumption during the off peak period. Greener Energy Group remedial section arranged for an engineer to call and we were provided with guidance on re-setting our hot water heating times to take advantage of the off peak rates. Their service has been excellent.

Must say that Greener Energy was professional from start to finish. Their office staff was both knowledgeable and helpful during the entire process. The fellas that installed our ASHP were fast, friendly and explained what they had installed. The two electricians were top drawer, explained how the system operates and tidied up after themselves. I was impressed by all the tradesmen and whilst the system was only installed yesterday we are more than happy thus far.

We had solar panels and a storage battery installed in January 2023, and couldn’t be happier with the result. Installation was quick and efficient, staff from initial survey through to sign off were unfailingly helpful and informative. One year on, the system has worked faultlessly. After a little confusion and during a busy time for Greener Energy I finally was attended by a few engineers. I had intermittent or no heating for 2 weeks. After clarifying the confusion 2 engineers attended my issue and my problem was quickly resolved , a faulty part was identified, new part sourced and another engineer was sent at 7pm to fit the new part. All in all a good end to my issue was achieved. I can say with experience that Greener energy do there best to resolve any issues you may have as soon as physically possible…. I am a happy customer and plan on getting Greener energy to upgrade my system in the future ,, 5 stars
