I have never seen such practices before, and feel this error will have a negative affect on my sons credit history, when this is nothing to do with him or are any monies owed here. United Kingdom | 11 April 2023The person on the phone was very friendly and seemed legit. I looked at some of the reviews on trust pilot and I phoned HMRC instead. They confirmed that the company was legit. Don’t know why the reviews are bad.

United Kingdom | 05 April 2023Received a letter for a united utilities debt for a property that I have never lived at. PDCS are unable to provide me with dates for when this debt was from. Staff poorly trained was told that it's in my name so I need to pay it, kept denying what he has said nearly had the poor inexperienced guy in tears because he was making so many mistakes. They seem to put the onus on an individual to prove the debt is not theirs for all I know this debt whoever it belongs to could be 10 years old. I really am looking forward to seeing any evidence that the debt is actually mine for a property I have never lived in. Like others who have left reviews I will be writing to the FCA about this company.

United Kingdom | 05 April 2023Absolute unprofessionalism. Due to their lack of professionalism, they created a misunderstanding in payments - they use Direct Debit, then they don't use it. I called them to make a payment (what could be simpler?) by phone. I spent with them all my break, the agent stole 25 (!) minutes from my life for an empty conversation, cluttering up my head with completely unnecessary information that I didn't ask him. As a result, the payment was not made. And a couple of hours later, a notification came from them that my arrangement plan was canceled. I couldn't even log into my account on their website to make another arrangement plan. Madhouse

I was initially glad they were dealing with this as I did not owe money and expected their professionalism would resolve this matter - it most certainly did not Their staff appeared to me embarrassed by the disgraceful behaviour of this company They ought to make sure debts are genuinely owed as the FCA require THEN help people sort out payment plans - They should and could be a force for good - mediating between creditors and debtors, there are a few positive reviews here. I spent hours with these people being messed about, it is just not right It is time these companies were properly regulated.

United Kingdom | 29 March 2023To be honest i can't really fault them, they answered the phone quickly and set up a payment plan for me which was affordable. I was very stressed when i received the letter but after calling them i feel reassured that it's all in hand now. Very frustrating that the dvla no longer send any correspondence to remind you of your tax date but i guess that's not past due's fault.

United Kingdom | 22 March 2023Either grossly incompetent or a scam… Switched energy provider and PDCS were assigned to collect the final payment (which was not late). I paid the balance straight away over the phone and could see the payment left my account for PDCS. 2 months (and 4 different customer service agents) later they’re still chasing for the same payment. Even after talking to my bank and sending PDCS my bank statements to show the transaction, they are still chasing… They’re either grossly incompetent or this is a scam..? Any advice gladly received.

United Kingdom | 06 March 2023Please be careful! I received a letter from this company which insinuated I owed a debt. When I called, it took a long time to get to the fact that they believed I owed HMRC £10K for unpaid VAT. The call centre staff member spoke English with an African accent. I am not VAT registered and pay my taxes on time. I called HMRC who agreed I did not owe anything. I reported the letter to Action Fraud (police scam reporting service) and to HMRC. I also contacted the email addresses supplied on the FCA website. This company is registered with Companies House and the FCA. Within a few days I received a new letter from this company saying the matter had been closed on their system and I should contact their client. It was a few days of high anxiety because almost everything checked out. The letter looks genuine, the information they have about me, the HMRC being a client, the FCA registration. Everything points to the huge debt being real until you speak to their "client", and you only get the "client" when you call the number. However, I understand that a "REAL" debt collection agency would generally tell you who and how much you owe (and for what) on the initial letter. The one thing that they didn't have was the correspondence address I submitted to HMRC, the one which has never been in the public domain, and the one that HMRC actually write to me on. Only because I have moved though! I strongly advise you use the two email addresses on the FCA site and TRIPLE CHECK everything before you hand any money over. This is a first rate scam, and the scariest I have experienced in recent years. PLEASE BE CAREFUL

Ireland | 22 February 2023Been dealing with this company for months now saying I owe money to SSE for electricity in my old rental property,despite the bill not having my account number on and despite sending them copies of every bill paid in full including my final bill clearly stating final bill they are still emailing me. After reading these reviews it’s now clear this company are scam artists.
