Appalling - they sent an incorrect letter to me (admin error), so I rang to attempt to tell them this. I waited 30 minutes to speak to someone, I didn't past security as they have random incorrect details on file (another admin error). Issue unresolved. Waste of my time. The worst bit was listening to their automated 'on hold' message repeatedly saying how wonderful they are...!

Received a text message about a DVLA fine for non payment of car tax but my car is £0 tax I had to write to DVLA twice and pester them by email numerous times. I updated PastDue via email every time I took any action and attached copies of letters and emails to DVLA. PastDue have been brilliant at every step of the way by acknowledging my emails and putting the fine on hold with no action for 30 days, more than once, whilst I waited for DVLA to respond. They finally have and it’s been written off NFA. I did have issues with getting onto PastDue portal but they have been very helpful and fair with me whilst waiting 3 months almost for DVLA to reply. I personally have had very good service from them and I suspect it is because I have emailed and provided evidence of my actions taken at every step of the way. Everyone seems to have staffing issues and backlogs due to Covid and they are no different - give them a chance and if in doubt then email which protects you both . I have mentioned that the portal is defective and needs attention . Thank you PastDue for waiting on DVLAs long awaited reply Useful Share SD

Got an email saying we are contacting you regarding Department of Health & Social Care. I was like what???? I have tried to login to their website with the account ID they have provided in the email...and for some reason my DOB was not matching with their database! What the heck? So I sent them an email requesting a call back and got a follow up email 5 days later at 9pm in the night saying that my call back request is now in the queue... Now after reading all the comments here, I will block them immediately.... thanks lads!

Absolute nonsense and full of BS merchants...Apparently owe £326.70 to a mobile provider which was took out apparently on June 2015..... called said phone company directly, only to be told I'm not a customer nor an existing or previous customer.. this mob are the most dreadful fraudulent shower of AH I have ever came across... if you get a threatening phone call or letter, just discard it. The more people ignore these clowns, the less money they get paid and hopefully they fold and disappear. Fuds

Other than 2 letters from Pastdue claiming I owe DVLA £80, I have not had any dealings with them so, despite the 97% negative reviews, I am going to try and remain neutral in the interests of being informative (hence the 3 stars). Having had the letters, I called DVLA to confirm if they were legitimate. The first thing to clarify is that DVLA do use them for collecting debts. The second point to highlight is that DVLA could not give any details of the specific offence, they simply offer the options to either pay the fine directly to them, or to appeal. Having done some quick research and worked out that I did indeed have a 1 month gap in my car tax (the reminders had gone to an old address), it was therefore a legitimate fine, which I paid directly to DVLA. My criticism is therefore more with DVLA for not being able to clarify the details of the offence (after all, I can see all my past purchases on Amazon, why cannot DVLA provide information on gaps in Road Tax?). My advice, double check your facts about your tax or licence and if you can, call the DVLA and pay them directly (as the other reviews suggest Pastdue's payment system is not user friendly) or appeal if you think you have a case. Best of luck!

I get texts to “Mille Barrett” for a debt. No opt out. I block these scammers but they keep texting me. The person isn’t me, for one thing I’m male! Stressful and frankly harassing to get these unsolicited text. Bad business.

Really bad customer service. So you have the evidence for the ombudsman ask for a Subject access request which is disk containing the content of all the calls you have had with them This is free and by law they have to send this to you within 30 days otherwise the ICO will step in given they have broken the law.I have and i am currently dealing with the omudsman and i am using these recordings as part of my evidence. Best of luck this company really need to be heavily fined .

Yet another letter harassing us when there is no debt. Respond by recorded delivery letter the following: To Pastdue Credit Solutions, I am writing in response to a letter from you dated 20/01/22. A copy is attached. I have no debt being owed to SSE Energy Services. A copy of the final account showing no outstanding debt is also enclosed. I have contacted SSE who have confirmed that no debt is owed, and I have a recording of the phone call to back this up. If you do not stop collection activity whilst investigating my dispute, you are breaking FCA rules and guidance. Also, ignoring claims that debts have been settled or are disputed and continuing to make unjustified demands for payment is harassment. Please provide evidence of my liability for the alleged debt or send me written confirmation that this matter is now closed. I look forward to hearing from you.

Glad its not just me that has found out how bad the experience is here! Trying to sort out a repayment plan: Got cut off yesterday and so far today on hold for 18 mins. That's pretty bad. Recommend you employ some analysts to review / streamline your customer experience processes - or actually define some for you in the first place! This is 2022 not 1982!

This company sent several threatening letters addressed to a company that doesn't exist. The occupants are naturally concerned. i've tried ringing on numerous occassions, for over 8 hours on hold but can never get through, they also don't answer emails. I feel i have over done this giving this awful company 1 star, it must be a scam.

Sent me a letter claiming I owed £91 to united utilities the funny thing is I have never had a bill in my name in my life as it’s all in my partners name, asked the company for a reference and a copy of the bill from united utilities with my name on…they didn’t respond. This is enough for me to believe they are scamming
