United States | 09 June 2018The sofa appears to be of good quality, but my experience was less than exemplary. After a horrible experience with the delivery company, I informed the US rep that I was done and was charging back the order since no one seemed interested in actually delivering the item. She promised me a refund of the US$395 delivery charge if I would accept the sofa. I still refused and started both the chargeback process and looking for another company to do business with. Suddenly, the delivery company calls and could be at my door in 30 minutes. I contacted the rep and let her know that the sofa had magically arrived and that I still expected the refund (she promised it-have proof in the email). Of course, that hasn't happened because the rep doesn't follow up or through. The sofa delivery April 18-you do the math. Quality of the item can't make up for the experience and lack of service-she even once tried to blame me for the delay-that I didn't keep HER informed of the fact that the delivery company was giving me the run around. Distinctive Chesterfields, you still owe me $395 for the crappy service experience.

Pour se faire, nous avons été bien épaulé par Delphine qui nous a guidé pour effectuer notre choix de façon très professionnelle. Un grand merci Delphine ! La livraison s'est effectuée comme prévu. je tiens à souligner la ponctualité et la gentillesse du livreur. Bravo pour votre professionnalisme ! Once they take your money they don’t listen to your complain or if you have any issues with the product. Ordered a bespoke sofa which arrived 17 weeks late. Once it arrived the sofa is not comfortable and the back rest is very hard!! I noticed a small pen park too. They refuse to give you a refund for a faulty product and would not take any blame!!! Distinctive chesterfields sofas are a waste of time energy and a lot of money!!!!

Not only are their products classy and constructed from premium materials, they offer a pressure free way to purchase. I have to mention Cristina in the London showroom who provided sound advice and great after sales service. The delivery team took great pride in their work, making sure that everything was to our satisfaction before they left. I can only but praise this company and would have no hesitation in returning to them in the future...

I am fairly punctilious and consequently spent several weeks researching various furniture brands, all of which seemed overpriced given their lack of ability to create a sui generis atmosphere. Through the recommendation of a family member, who had recently ordered leather samples, I reached out to Ruth at Distinctive Chesterfields and began the process of ordering three pieces—a three person couch, a loveseat, and a club chair. In all fairness, both my wife and I were a little apprehensive ordering furniture online but that was a ‘risk’ we were willing to take after reading the reviews and examining similar pieces at Distictive’s warehouse in High Point NC. All our anxiety was completely abated when we finally received our shipment—be advised, it takes longer than ordering from a local shop. These are, after all, bespoke! We were completely blown away by the beauty and quality of these Chesterfields! They are simply stunning. The leather is rich and bold and the atmosphere of sophistication they bring to the room is quintessentially British. Every detail has been addressed with precision. My wife and I cannot stop looking at them--we cannot decide if we want to sit down and absorb the nostalgia of these timeless pieces or stand and admire them! Ruth is very pleasant to work with and is easily accessible, yet without being the ubiquitous salesperson. I highly recommend Distinctive Chesterfields.

Once the brochure and samples were delivered they gave us a courtesy call to see if we had any questions, which we did indeed! Choosing our colour and model was straight forward as we explained what we needed for our home and the right model and colour was soon choosen. The delivery drivers were efficient and very friendly. Couldn't recommend Distinctive Chesterfields enough. Thank you!

France | 28 April 2018Nous avons acheté un Holyrood et nous sommes très content du canapé, qui est très confortable et d'un excellent rapport qualité prix je trouve. En revanche la livraison, c'était vraiment pas ça. Faute de nouvelles du transporteur 7 semaines après avoir payé l'intégralité du canapé, nous avons dû renoncer à partir en vacances car nous savions par Delphine que la livraison était 'normalement' imminente et avions peur de devoir attendre encore plus longtemps si nous quittions notre domicile. Finalement nous avons été contactés par le transporteur le mardi pour une livraison le lendemain ! Difficile dans ces conditions de planifier quoique ce soit .... Mais bon, cela valait la peine d'attendre, la livraison a été le seul (gros) bémol, tout le reste s'est bien passé. Je pourrais récidiver et repasser commande maintenant que je sais qu'il faut s'armer de patience et ne pas avoir besoin de planifier quoique ce soit ....

France | 27 April 20182 canapés achetés = double satisfaction. Malgré les 5 à 7 semaines de délais prévus lors de la commande, nous avons eu le plaisir de les recevoir 4 semaines plus tard. La livraison nous a été annoncée par e mail et a été effectuée dans les temps. Le livreur a été parfait, il nous a aidé à les rentrer " sans rechigner", et nous avons constaté que les emballages était très efficaces. La fabrication est comme nous l' espérions, nous sommes ravis d'avoir rencontré un staff très sérieux .Nous le remercions. Pour info, il faut juste savoir que les frais bancaires sont un peu élevés, mais cela est indépendant du reste,et, n' altère en rien notre satisfaction.

Ça valait vraiment la peine d’attendre un peu la livraison. Je trouve important de donner un retour sur la durée, puisque c’est grâce aux avis que j’avais décidé de tenter l’expérience. Du coup, aujourd’hui, je mettrais 5 étoiles ;) Nous sommes ravis du canapé : il est très beau et aussi confortable (canapé anglais Cambridge). Je n'ai rien trouvé d'aussi bien chez les habiltuelles grandes surfaces de meubles, ni surtout avec ce bon rapport qualité/prix. Un petit bémol pour l'organisation un peu laborieuse de la livraison qui s'est finalement bien passée. Tout le monde s'est montré aimable. En conclusion, je recommanderais Distinctive Chesterfields à des amis.

United Kingdom | 25 April 2018We have had such amazing service from Cristina at the London store, she really has gone above and beyond whilst helping us with our order, giving us honest advice and recommendations and putting up with how fussy I was about choosing a fabric. We received the sofa today and are in love, its exactly what we wanted, the size, the fabric and its super comfy! It only took 4-6 weeks from ordering which is really quick in comparison to some companies. The delivery guys also did a great job, they were really lovely and polite, did the job quickly and carefully and explained the attachments on our particular model. Can't wait to be able to make another order with this company in the future! Thank you to everyone at Distinctive Chesterfields.

I'm happy I opted for 3 cushions rather than 2 for my 3 seater as this works much better for me. The ordering process was very straightforward and the 0% finance options available made making the purchase a lot easier. The delivery folk were lovely to deal with and it was easy to arrange a date convenient for me. The delivery men were very helpful in placing the sofa's exactly where I wanted them. I couldn't really ask for much more.

United Kingdom | 15 April 2018Shocking experience. Ordered 2 x chairs, 1 x 3 seater chesterfield and a footstool. Soon after, I notice a stain on our cream carpet clearly from one of the feet on our new sofa (photos reflecting the substandard quality are available on my review on their FB page). I got in touch asking for help as to how to remove this stain originating from Mahogany stained Vegas feet. THESE CHAIRS AND SOFAS WILL DAMAGE YOUR CARPET OR PROBABLY DAMAGE YOUR WOOD FLOOR. THEY ARE STAINED AND WILL LEACH INTO YOUR CARPET. THEY ADMIT THIS IS A STANDARD THAT IS NORMAL FOR THEM. Local wood specialist whom I sought advice find this totally unacceptable- people clean carpets at some point so this will sustain this damage when this happens. The response to asking for advice was a formal reply from them saying they feel they weren't liable and that they had never experienced this before. (A blatant lie- after denying it had ever happened in the 10 years of trading, they finally admit this exact thing happened to their company Director's mother's carpet from the same model sofa). Throughout this process, they replied with more inconsistent dross as I tried to find out what on earth this stain was. The answer seemed to be whatever would most likely make me go away. "There is a stain and varnish on the bottom of the wooden feet" "The suppliers (of the wooden feet) have confirmed there is no stain under the feet" "Actually there is a stain under the feet and this is normal" I deal with ****** for weeks (she's just the messenger- I later find out a manager called **** ***** loads the gun and ****** just fires it). After weeks and weeks of arguing that they were responsible for this and threatening small claims court, **** ***** finally gets involved and reveals that this in fact had happened once before (the director's mother) and thy managed to sort this using Vanish carpet cleaner. They could have told me this ages before and could have saved me a lot of time and hassle. I try and clean this and most of it comes off but still some stain left on my carpet. The most frustrating thing most definitely are the lies, denying this had ever happened before, and whilst having experience dealing with the stain- chose not to share this. Looking back, the formal initial knee-jerk reply denying any liability was a symptom of these guys clearly having plenty of experience with dealing with unhappy customers. They don't care enough to sort this. I think you'd get better customer service at Aldi. Buy elsewhere and probably spend a little more money elsewhere to get better quality and avoid the pathetic customer service. Makes you seriously wonder the warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on. They offered a "gesture of goodwill" which is so pathetic, it's obvious it's intent is to add insult- very smart. This was a 15% discount for future orders but it must not be in a sale, and it must not be finances, and must be full priced. What planet are these guys on??? I replied telling them they could keep this generous offer for their next victim. Cue **** and a smart reply......
