Switching process initially easy and customer service always friendly quick and efficient. Changed some personal account details by phone today and Jordan could not be more helpful.

United Kingdom | 29 April 2019Avoid this supplier. I was with them for only three months before they doubled my direct debit. I immediately switched to a new supplier then recieved a final bill of 228 GBP for one month's gas use in a small two bed house. I have not paid this because I do not agree with it and so they added another 20 GBP admin fee. What a joke. I will keep everyone updated on my ongoing dispute with them. They act friendly but it's a facade and are just here to rip you off just like the big energy suppliers do. Thankfully got rid of them before they could steal my money. They are theives like so many big companies just looking to make massive profits at your expense. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! The majority of positive reviews on this site are clearly faked and should be taken down by law. They all are similar in language and tone which is a giveaway. Engie is a French multinational utility company that had a revenue of 60.6 billion last year and a net income of 2.5 billion according to Wikipedia. *This is publicly available information

United Kingdom | 27 April 2019I’ve been with ENGIE now for three months and have been impressed with the customer service I’ve received. I have only phoned them twice. First time was just to see how long it took them to answer while looking for new suppler. On that and the other occasion it was answered within two rings. Staff are both helpful and knowledgeable.They are now also able to use my Smart meter readings installed by another company a few years ago.

This was much better than the previous supplier I was with, who are still unable to resolve the problem.

United Kingdom | 26 April 2019I received a letter from Scottish power confirming that our energy supply would transfer to them in the coming days. I didn’t request this change so contacted Scottish power customer service, it took 27 minutes for them to answer the call and a further 19 minutes of explanation before they advised there had likely been an error at their end but they couldn’t stop the transfer, they wouldn’t transfer me to a supervisor, they couldn't email me to confirm their error or advise how to correct the error and they couldn’t transfer me to the complaints department as I wasn’t a customer - they suggested I contact my existing supplier to fix their problem. Engie answered the call within two rings and stopped the transfer in a few minutes, the customer service contact Andrew Taylor was efficient and very helpful reassuring me that this matter had been successfully closed - it would appear that Scottish power were correct if you need to fix a problem generated by Scottish power then speak with an alternative professional supplier in Engie

My initial query turned into a request for Sarah to set up a utility supply switch for my late mother’s house. The whole process took about 5 minutes. Sarah was extremely empathetic. pleasant, helpful and efficient.

After speaking to a very nice lady called Sarah McKenzie she took new readings and created a new bill for me for which I was very grateful. Quite the best customer service I have had in a long time.

He was very patient, thorough and efficient, as was Jordan Emery. A stressful situation for me resulted in Excellent customer service! I recommend a pay rise for Daniel Ferries & Jordan Emery.
