We found the experience at Barker and Stonehouse in Hove brilliant. It was our first visit to the store, as we wanted to see the quality of two armchairs on their website before purchasing. We were not pounced on by anyone and left free to wander around viewing the furniture on display and having a coffee in their Cafe too! The Sales Representative, Paul Constance, was attentive, professional and friendly when processing our order. The chairs arrived in 6 days, the packing was superb, and they look lovely in our lounge, as well as being very comfortable and well made. We will definitely recommend this store to friends and family.

Stephen was incredibly helpful in store - he knew when to leave us to discuss/browse and when to step in with helpful and constructive sales advice. Once we had reached a decision he walked us through the purchase and order process very efficiently. Since then he has kept in contact and been extremely responsive with regard to delivery arrangements.

The only reason that this isn’t a 5* rating is because there was a disproportionately lengthy production lead write for my dining chairs (just shy of 5 months!) which may be out of B&S control. That said, every member of the team that I engaged with in the sales and delivery process was fantastic. Olga (at the Kingston store) is a true gem - smart, professional, responsive and caring all at once. Steve and Terry provided a timely, friendly, polite and professional delivery service right into my dining room.

My visit to the store in Guildford resulted in more than satisfactory result. Kelly Spicer was patient and helpful. Matt and Tyler arrived with the sofa this morning on time, installing the sofa with minimum of fuss. I hope I don’t need another sofa, but if I do, it will come from B& S.

We visited the Hull branch to look at sofas and came away with not only a sofa, but also a dining room set. We we blown away be the designs, colours & quality of the stock on offer. Damian White took care of our needs and there was no pressure. He was extremely knowledgeable about the products & he left us to walk around the store at our leisure. I've just had beautiful bedroom furniture delivered from Barker and Stonehouse. The furniture is even better than I imagined. The service has been exceptional from start to finish, topped off with a hassle free and very helpful delivery by Kalvis and Adrian. I would highly recommend Barker and Stonehouse.
