I just wanted to express my sincere gratitude to Carol at the Battersea Branch. My whole experience over the course of two weeks has been amazing. I visited the branch and was assisted by Carol. We discussed the furniture I had in mind for the project; the quality of the furniture and the potential replacements for the dining chair that was out of stock. She has been patient during indecision and fast acting when needed. Thank you again Carol and I hope to work with you again on future Projects! I am very pleased with my purchase.

Visited the Hull store 19/01 - well laid out store with freedom to browse at leisure. Staff friendly and helpful - served and assisted by Barrie Molloy who was very helpful in placing our order.

We really wanted a specific table which wasn't available in store. Valentina at the Guildford branch contacted other stores and got us the table and chairs we wanted. She was an absolute pleasure to speak with, being patient with all our questions. Overall organising the delivery was a bit confusing as we had to delay twice because the space wasn't ready, but B&S were very accommodating. The delivery was done by Matt P. and Adrian from Guildford. They were tidy, efficient and professional. They installed the table without disrupting our work from home routines. We will definitely be shopping there again.

Order number added as requested 190983854 Purchased a ACACIA SOFA DRAKE TOBAC sofa and arm chair in 2022. It cost a lot of money and for us was a purchase we expected to last years and years. We took out the platinum insurance cover on recommendation of the store manager to cover leather and structure manufacturing issues for five years. Just over two year in and the sofa seats are sagging terrible and the sofa is uncomfortable to sit on. We are so disappointed because this was such a big purchase for us. We contacted the insurance cover and informed them that the policy we took out states the following is covered “loss of resilience to foam or fibre in cushions” but the insurer has refused to help. We are dumbfounded because the policy states it’s covered for this issue. We feel we had a product miss sold at the point of purchasing the sofa Additional we are very dissatisfied with the sofa as we expected it to last much longer than two years We are two average size and weight people so the sofa has been treated with care and this type of sag and seat cushion collapse should not have happened On this basis I wouldn’t recommend Barker and Stonehouse and we would not buy any product from them again

We received our beautiful Ercol sofa today, it looks amazing and is super comfy. Steve and Terry from Crawley who delivered it gave us a time window, were friendly and considerate, worked out the best way to get in and took away all the packaging too, fab service, thank you.

We were very impressed with the helpful manner of David from the Leeds branch. He dealt with our questions and offered assistance in helping us choose our perfect dining suite. David was not at all pushy and a credit to the company name.

David at the Leeds branch was really helpful, he remembered us from our last visit so knew what we were looking for, helped us with colour as we were undecided, was knowledgeable about the different types of materials that met our needs, not pushy in anyway, really friendly as are all the staff at B&S. Overall very happy with our experience
