United Kingdom | 03 July 2024A senior followed up to discuss ‘resolving’ my situation yet here I am still in the same position. Documents being requested stalling. When all I want to do is pay off my loan! This is absolutely unreal. I have a related purchase on another property and I’m about to loose the house if this doesn’t get resolved asap.

United Kingdom | 02 July 2024Pepper money have been charging 9.8% since 2021 and i am now at risk of loosing our family home as it is not sustainable. I explained i changed my company around to expand which meant reducing my wages for a while. I am and now a lot more stable than i have ever been since joining with Pepper but they are not willing to put me on a fixed rate as they claim i cannot afford it. I am paying double what i should be!! I have raised complaints which just get ignored. The way i am being treated should be illegal.

United Kingdom | 27 June 2024Pepper was amazing! Not only they take a common sense approach when underwriting, but they really take the time to understand each case on its own merit as opposed to going through a tick box exercise! Sam Bickerton has been a great help in discussing the case and taking the time to go through the details. Also a special thanks to the underwriter, thanks you for your amazing support in getting this case over the line! :)

United Kingdom | 25 June 2024Vicky Wilson really helped us out with a client recently that seemed to fall out of Pepper's standard lending criteria. Vicky discussed the case, understood the issues and went to the head of mandate to get the decision overturned. Fantastic service!

United Kingdom | 18 June 2024Above & beyond as always The underwriters always go above and beyond but to stay on for half an hour after their shift finishes on a sunny Friday afternoon is something else. Just to make sure that the client got their offer. Use Pepper a lot and cant recommend them enough. Fantastic service from day one.

United Kingdom | 11 June 2024Should have Zero Stars !! STAY CLEAR OF PEPPER MONEY THEY RIP YOU OFF !! Denied my deed of postponement on my new mortgage but only after 5 weeks of delaying asking for all information even though they were going to deny it anyway !! They want us to pay there loan off which I’ve been paying for 2 years so the capital amount I owe is the same as I took out originally so they have basically taken 2 years of payments from me then screwed me costing me a total of £7000 !! After the delay the interest rate has gone up so my new mortgage offer will end up being higher plus have to apply for remortgage cost me £500 I now have to pay this again to broker ! Thanks for nothing you rotten scumbags ! Also try looking up any information regarding deed of postponement in the literature not a word regarding it so basically make it up as they go along !

United Kingdom | 06 June 2024The second time and probably not the last that I have been forced to put a review up in the hope that somebody senior from this company will actually have the decency to call me back. Back end of 2022 we were struggling with our ridiculously high mortgage payments so decided to speak with them to request we switch to interest only for a period three months. This was agreed, after having to wait weeks for them to get it signed off (and had to chase for that decision) at all times I explained that whatever we did we did not want it to adversely affect our credit file. As the agreement was set up late it did not kick in on the month requested, but the month after. When I was told this I explained that we had budgeted for this period to start when requested and didn't have the money available to pay the full amount for that month. We were told just to make a nominal payment and this would show as a payment made and would have no bearing on our credit account. This was not confirmed in writing by Pepper nor were the terms of our Interest free period. We went to buy some goods on credit recently and were declined due to over a years worth of arrears on our account! which had given us a 2 on our report, which has will now mean we are unable to get credit for the next 6 years. They are refusing to correct this - utterly disgusting, I will have no option to go to the Ombudsman unless the situation is rectified.
