Given a date for Tuesday and the engineer arrived from down south at 8.30 am and fitted it in less than an hour.No pressure from anyone and delighted with my bathlift. only downside is that I will have to alter my new bathmat to fit round bottom on floor. Easy.

United Kingdom | 12 July 2019My wife can now get out of the bath but she can't lay down in the bath as she has to remain on the seat, she can lean back but can't go further as the webbing would move too far down the bath and risk creasing. Because of the necessary position of the seat she cannot reach the taps with her hands once in the bath.

He is a 79 year old, with many medical problems, including high blood pressure, and abdominal aortic aneurysm, pacemaker, 2 knee replacements and one foot fused to his leg. The item was purchased as hewas unable to get in and out of a bath due to his limited mobility and medical issues. My father purchased your product, which was installed on 07 June 2019. He took his first bath the following day; another on 15th June and a third bath on 22nd June. It was on taking the third bath that your unit failed. The belt began to concertina into the unit making the seating area too narrow to remain seated and safe. My father fell backwards, hit his head on the wall behind him and fell down into the bath, trapping him to the rear of the bath with his legs elevated around the narrowed belt. I write to you on behalf of my father. He left his name and number with the person who answered the phone and was told someone would call him back. 27th June someone from your company called back and informed him that you would remove the unit, but there would be no refund. My father contested this and said that it was both dangerous and not fit for purpose. He quoted the same issues already listed asbad reviews on Trustpilot. The person on the phone said they would call back on 1st or 2nd July. To date no one has called. He has also noted that the bathroom smells as the belt retains the damp and becomes foisty. I have taken photographic evidence of how and where it has been fit. I believe the product has not been fit correctly as it is too far forward, it is unsafe as there is nothing to stop someone from falling backwards, there is clearly a design fault as thereis nothing to keep the belt safely in place and prevent it from scrunching up into the unit. It causes me a great deal of concern to know that this has already happened to others and nothing has been done to rectify the issue. I feel it is important thatthis does not happen to any other person and lead to an inevitable fatality. I would really appreciate you resolving this matter with my father; he requires the unit removing, a full refund and also funds to have the bathroom restored to it's former state. Copied into this email are BBC Watchdog and which, we will also be notifying Trading Standards and contacting Barclaycard as payment was made via Barclaycard.
