They also didn’t disclose everything from the beginning and the closing amount was going higher and higher by thousands of dollars every DAY!!! All this created a huge amount of unnecessary stress!!!! The experience was so much worse than the first time we bought a house(not with Rocket)

United States | 13 March 2025Rocket Mortgage made it very easy for me to obtain my Mortgage loan. They charged me a very low closing fee compared to other competitors. Closing was easy and very fast. I would recommend Rocket Mortgage to any one looking to buy or refinance a house.

United States | 13 March 2025Everyone was helpful and professional. The only complaint I have is not everything was clear. For example there is $2,700 or so in our escrow but our property taxes haven’t been paid. No one explained when it would be done. Just a bit of clarification would help.

United States | 12 March 2025I financed 4 mortgages (on 3 different properties) with Rocket Mortgage however had a very bad experience on this last one. After being "pre-approved" and 1 week until closing, underwriters asked questions that should have been asked well in advance such as during the pre-approval process. Bottom line my loan was denied 4 days from closing. I'd give this zero stars if they hadn't been successful for me in the past.

United States | 11 March 2025Taking on a new long, even if it is through my current mortgage lender is scary and anxiety inducing. The process started nicely and the contact Nancy Alton was friendly at first as she gave details of the new loan. However, things seemed to shift when I agreed to move forward with the loan. Conversations became curt and less friendly. Then rather than answer questions with care, the responses were dismissive and seemingly rude. When Nancy went on vacation, whomever was covering her made multiple attempts to load documents to my portal as time was ticking quickly for me to sign. Perhaps they are too busy to the point they cannot adequately focus attention to detail and customer service? At any rate, the loan closed quickly, which was lovely.

United States | 11 March 2025Did not like the fact that I had to send checks out to all creditors. In addition, it was a hassle to determine which check went with which creditor (when names just have abbreviations). Also, nobody tells you that you use TransUnion when I only went by my Experian. Also, with technology today; why isn't there a system in place where Rocket can electronically send payments directly. It is no help when you still have to make payments until the long process of creditor receiving mailed in checks and the process of them. I will never use Rocket again and look forward to when I can refi again for last time. Very disappointed in the process.

Out of all, I must commend Rocket Mortgage on their excellence in service. I have experienced nothing less than exceptional help, offers, and commitment to find a working solution for me. I am proud to have Rocket Mortgage as my mortgage lender. The only thing better would be a "Paid-In Full" mortgage. Thanks Rocket Mortgage.
