Great people over at Rocket, namely Joseph Cervantez that handled my loan, he worked tirelessly to make an otherwise complicated purchase as straightforward as possible. Cant say enough great things about him.

Very helpful through the process

Run! This is the most unethical company I have ever done business with. I was pressured into taking a much larger amount than I wanted (HELOC). They told me they would allow me to "recast" half the loan after 2 payments. I was told no interest would be charged on the recasted amount and the loan payment would be reconfigured to reflect the smaller amount I kept. THEY LIED EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. When closing came, I immediately caught that the document stated "it was a loan consolidation" and any recasting would be charged full interest with no reconfiguring of the payment. A huge amount of work that would have cost me a ton of money. I am reporting them to the regulatory agency but I bet there are already so many complaints against Rocket Mortgage that they will just roll their eyes.

We just refinanced our home and were able to get enough money to pay off some debt and had some left to do some much needed home repair. Everyone was so professional and helpful and worked very hard to help us and we have been so pleased with our outcome!!

I never expected the personable service I received. I felt that Rocket Mortgage staff were keenly interested in my home purchase process. Each team member kept me informed of every action taken on my loan application. When I ran into obstacles, I was assured that my situation would be given priority all the way through to a resolution. I was even copied on emails between the staff! They seemed as excited as I was when my mortgage loan application reached clear-to-close. Great service!

We thought we would be working with the same person the entire time as that is what we were told, but we kept getting different people handling different parts of the process. Assumptions were made by the company that we knew what was needed for this loan, and we had stressed the fact multiple times that we were first-time home buyers - though, how often does one go through this process? We got hounded when we didn't do something when in reality, we weren't told about said task until the calls started. We were called during the day and emailed within five minutes if we didn't call back right away. This was stressful and frustrating as we are working professionals and couldn't always drop everything to respond right away. Additionally, we almost didn't make our closing date because Rocket Mortgage neglected to contact my employer in time to get verification of my employment. They too forgot to factor into their equation that my employer has more to do in their day than to respond to mortgage companies right away for their staff. To say I was livid and stressed beyond comprehension for this oversight is an understatement. I did everything in my power to complete things within a timely manner, and something this company needed to clear me for the loan that they were responsible for was neglected. That's the company's responsibility to fulfill, not mine. The ball was dropped, and various departments clearly didn't talk to one another. I will not be using Rocket Mortgage again. The only highlight of this company was to hire the mortgage broker who handled our account in the first half of our transaction.

Buyer beware.From my experience, this company will string you along for a month and a 1/2. You turn all your paperwork in you, pay the money four an appraisal.700.00 you never get back and they turn you down. All my ducks were in a row. My house is worth a lot more than I owe. And they caused me nothing but stress. In the last month, find a different company. Buyer beware. No Transparency. Run . Thank Jesus is did not pay for my appraisal. They ate it.
