United States | 04 October 2017When I picked up the car, I couldn't get any of the power outlets to work so I tried to exchange it for another car but they didn't have any more. So I took the car. The car ran fine but was older and a little beat up. We finally go one outlet to work.

Overall a great experience, however, when I placed a call to customer service for a particular question, the customer service representative wasn't too interested in helping answer the question.

Only once with a short-term EuropeCar rental did I have a problem, caused by them, for which even Kemwel Manager could not recover their nefarious shenanigan. I suggest you keep an eye on them.

United States | 03 October 2017Avis won't honor the Kemwel voucher. The Avis representative worked with us for 2 hours trying get a answer from Kemwel on inputting the voucher. We ended up paying Avis for a car. We were even given 2 phone numbers in Canada with no replies, The customer service representative wasn't apologetic that we spent 2 hours trying to get a car and had to use a credit card to charge a car we already paid for. Kemwel did straighten it out with Avis when we returned the car 9 days later.

Malta | 03 October 2017Kemwel is always my first choice of rent a car. it is very good option with zero deduct rate. But I had experience, after few times using normally, that I came to rental car agency and they blocked me 600 Euros on credit card for insurance for tires, window ( what is not covered by Kemwel), I asked for what was reason they blocked money, and it was a new rule. I was disappointed as on Kemwel contract that block of money wasn't mention , so would like to give heads up to check with car provider about further 'cost'

United States | 02 October 2017Vouchers were easy and simple to use--included insurance and extra fees which vouchers from other companies did not. And the customer service was great when I found the exact same rental cheaper somewhere else--they refunded me the difference immediately.

One thing that I did appreciate was that the person I was on the phone with gave me a break down of the cost, which made me realize that the price I paid for did NOT include insurance. It was simply just base price. That is something that should be advertised or noted.

Canada | 02 October 2017Bonne voiture en excellent état et prix imbattable. Par contre, le temps d'attente pour la récupérer à l'aéroport de Marseille a été exagéré : 1h30 en file au comptoir de Hertz avant d'avoir la voiture. Mais le retour à Aix en Provence fut impeccable et très rapide.

United States | 02 October 2017I recently booked a car for my trip to Argentina through Kayak. Kemwel Voucher #417325 . KEDDY Number # 1065302959. I traveled with my wife, our 3 year old and our 7 month old. My reservation started supposedly at 10 AM on Sunday the 10th of September. I called Europcar a few days before to confirm everything was all set and happened to talk to the manager at the Ezeiza Airport location (which is where I was supposed to pick up the car). The reason for my call a few days prior was that I needed an infant seat. I was told that it would be unlikely that it would be available so I needed to bring my own. So I had to bring not only 1 but 2 car seats from USA to Argentina. The manager asked me specifically for my flight information so it’d be in the system. (I’m not sure why since they don’t really track it or follow up on the flight info) The flight happened to arrive a bit early. 7AM. We came out to the passenger reception area at 8 AM after customs and getting our luggage. There was no one there to guide us to wherever we needed to go to get the car. I asked someone about it and they told me that the agent wouldn't show up to pick us up until the actual time of the reservation. So there we are in Argentina with 2 infants and 5 pieces of luggage and nowhere to go. We had to sit there and hope someone would show up at 10 AM. I asked about the actual EUROPCAR office so I could go there and get a car and when I finally found it of course there was no one in the office. The office was supposed to be open from 8 AM as it clearly states on their website. I asked someone about it and they told me that the agent wouldn't show up to pick us up until the actual time of the reservation. This is unheard of for a car agency. I travel for business all the time and I have never experience this kind of bad inefficient service. We waited until 10:15 in the receiving area and finally I left my family behind to go see if there was someone in the office (which is in another terminal) The person was just getting to the office as I walked in. UNREAL. Unfortunately it doesn’t stop there. The car they gave us had been in a collision, was missing a dirt cover on one of the wheels, was full of dings everywhere and was given to us with a half tank of gallon. I have never experience this kind of service on any industry. Thanks Danilo Garcia
