Even though the voucher mentioned that there will no sales tax, there was a hefty sales tax charged by Avis on my booking when I actually got the rental car.

Unfortunately, when we got to the Avis counter in Bilboa we were informed that our insurance could not be applied because we did not rent through Avis but went through Kemwel. The car rental ended up costing us more than had we booked directly through the car rental company.

I've used Kemwel for years, and have always had great service from them. Good prices for the rentals, and great response if I need to change anything.

I have used Kemwel for years for car rentals in Europe and have always had positive experiences. Prices offered for vehicles from the major providers that they work with are always better than what the providers themselves ask, even when using discounts. Excellent customer service - you get a friendly person in Maine to speak with who is always glad to take as much time as you need to answer questions and resolve issues. We have also rented GPS units from them at a much better price than renting at the airport. Getting ready to book my next rental with them for Italy.

I had never heard of Kemwel nor used this service before, but the rental process was excellent. There was a bit of a wait at Budget for them to get the correct vehicle, but that was Budget's process not Kemwel. The charge was as indicated and the drop off was quick and no delay because of going through Kemwel's booking. I originally could not find the vehicle I needed through my usual rental car services but Kemwel found the vehicle I needed at a good price.

Good service by the agents and shuttle people. Car however was dirty when we received it.

The reservation process was easy and simple. Equally important, I got a great deal on a late model mini-van that was in pristine condition. Overall, a silky smooth experience!

Used Kemwel to book rental in Shannon, Ireland at a good price. The booking was made at Hertz through AutoEurope. Hertz didn’t have my reserved class of car upon arrival and offered to upgrade for another €100! They lowered it to €50 when I objected which I ended up paying rather than wait indefinitely for a car to be returned. Hertz also put a $5000 hold on my card instead of the $1680 Kemwel advertised. This is probably all Hertz’ doing but why bother going through Kemwel if the rental agency is going to rip you off for doing so.

The car was fine but the experience was awful. Checking in was a breeze and the car was great and easy to use but returning the car was a nightmare. There was a line out the door at 6am!! I understand that it’s busy and what not but you need a better system. We almost missed our flight. We had to sprint to the check in counter and sprint to security. Not okay. And when we told them we had to catch a flight very soon they really didn’t care. It’s 2017. Update your practices or schedule more ppl to work when you know a bunch of people are going to return their cars all at one time.

Competitive and flexible, good customer service

I have used Kemwel for several European vacations. The rates are competitive and the vehicles are exactly what I want. This time I got an Alfa Romeo,which was great when driving the roads in the Dolomites.

wasn't sure what to think, since it was $150. less than any other rental options that popped up on Kayak.com, but I decided to give it a try. It was totally legitimate--would definitely use it again.
