We worked with Barry Haq on our house purchase. Overall, very happy with the services provided. Very professional and swift with regular updates on the progress of the deal provided from the beginning until the end. The whole deal took a bit longer than we ideally would want, but it was only due to the long Xmas holidays as we were buying end of the year. The pricing is transparent with no hidden fees. Would defo recommend to friends and family.

Craig Peters was the property valuer we had over to our home inInverness and he was more knowledgable than any others we met about the market , He took so much time and explained everything and how it would work and really held our hand through the process which is what was required as we haven't sold a house in Scotland before. What made our experience great was that Barry Haq, the solicitor appointed by the firm to handle our sale and purchase went above and beyond our expectations. An example of this is our purchasers solicitors and selling agents were getting anxious around receiving updates and as our process was taking place over the festive period Barry interrupted his holiday to work on our case and to update the other parties involved. He was always responsive, positive, helpful and through his efforts concluded our missives with a week to go to the move out / move in date. This latter point took the stress out / removed the thought that our agreements might fall at the last hurdle. From my experience I would happily use McEwan Fraser Legal in the future.
