I brought a second hand Alpine Electric Trike, built about 2018. I was enjoying riding it until 2 months later the axle sheared off, and I lost 3 of the 4 cogs. I arranged to have it taken to a repair shop and both Rich and I have tried phoning and emailing but we can’t get a response to the question, do they have a spare axle for this model?

Because their service was very good.

I visited Leicester to have a trial ride on the Explorer - Steve was great, really patient and informative and gave me the confidence I needed to get to know the trike. There was no pressure to commit to a purchase, just concern that I had enough time to know if this was right for me. Once I made the decision, Steve quickly brought the Explorer to my home for me to try again, but also the Commando which I was interested in due to the different pedal assist. The choice was so easy and I’ve been riding the Commando now for the last month with Steve easily contactable for any queries. It really is the best, and I’m enjoying every minute on the trike, whether it’s a day out on the canal path, a trip to the local shops, or to my volunteer work. I can’t thank Steve enough for the difference this has made to my life - I recently lost my driving licence due to health reasons and this has given me back my independence. Thank you again Steve.

I was impressed with Steve's excellent website for Alpine Trikes. When contacted he willingly agreed to bring 3 different models for me to try - I happily paid £130 towards the cost of this (refundable on purchase). These impressive bikes were more solidly built than I had imagined. However, due to my balance problems and mobility issues I decided not to go ahead with the purchase. Steve was very reassuring and put no pressure on me. I was sorry not to be able to go ahead and do a deal with a straightforward, honest guy, and sad I could not cope with one of these great machines.

From the moment I first made contact with Steve at Alpine Bikes I knew I was dealing with a very knowledgeable and honest gentleman. I was given excellent advice with regard to purchasing an electric trike. The customer service is second to none. Steve arrived at my home as arranged, and brought two trikes for me to have a trial ride on. There was absolutely no pressure to buy, and Steve was very generous with his time. He answered all my questions and was keen to make sure I was confident with my purchase before he left. He even fitted my wing mirrors on for me! I bought the Ranger. I am so pleased with this trike. How nice to have something delivered, ready assembled to ride! A service so hard to find these days.. I highly recommend this company. Steve really cares about his customers. I'm so glad I went to Alpine. I have been taking my dog to the park on the back of the trike. He thinks it's fab! A big thank you Alpine Bikes.

The guys were very helpful on the phone . We wanted a new battery for a bike we bought about 7 yrs ago . We arranged for a family member to collect it . All went very smoothly. Thanks guys

Steve took the trouble to firstly answer my questions on the phone. From my initial call we arranged a test ride. Steve turned up at my home a few days later with several Trikes for me to try. He took the trouble to explain the different features and patiently let me ride the different Trikes to see how they rode. Each model felt slightly different, the last one I rode was perfect and best suited my needs. I felt confident and in control. I am thrilled with my Trike and look forward to having many adventures on it. I thoroughly recommend this company. Many thanks to Steve.

Not happy on 2 occasion of ordering a new battery 17.5 inch when the battery was 15 inches surely he brought the bike to sell,

Steve delivered the bike personally and spent time with us showing us how to use the bike. He has also been available on the phone to ask a question. He was knowledgeable and helpful . This gave us a sense of security over a large expenditure. We also felt the cost of trying the bike out was very fair and this was deducted from the purchase price when we paid for the bike. He told us it would take 2 weeks to get used to it and he was spot on. My husband had it for his 83rd birthday and absolutely loves it. Thank you.

Great bike Good communication I have spastic paraparesis and hadn’t ridden a bike for 4 years so it’s been a steep learning curve with my trike I love it, still mastering right turns on rubbish road surfaces, a great purchase. My legs were not long enough for the suspension seat pole and that had to be changed .. the only negative Can’t blame the bike company for my short legs.
