PODS were both clean, drop off and pick-up people were polite and willing to put in a little extra effort to get the PODS exactly where I wanted them, and when an issue came up regarding both PODS being placed at drop off, the driver handled the situation for me.

He placed the pod in such an awkward spot in my generous driveway. Causing an difficult move. He said the limbs of the tree would damage his equipment. Ridiculous. Wispy limbs cannot do that.

United States | 07 February 2025Lots of hidden fees. I ended up paying way more per month than my agreed upon amount once the pod left my property. The sales team do not make you aware of the difference in pricing. On top of that had a really poor experience.... The door to my pod wouldn't open after they dropped it back off for unloading. The Manager blamed me for things moving in the pod and wouldn't send someone out without charging me and waiting about 3 business days. I had to crawl underneath the door that would only open a foot and clear what was preventing the door from opening. Could have been a very dangerous situation but they certainly didn't care! Even the customer service rep was really surprised by the manager's response to the situation. Other than that I would definitely recommend a storage container for moving.

United States | 07 February 2025Every person I have dealt with has been professional and knowledgeable. I feel like every aspect of the process was explained clearly. PODS goes beyond the scope of providing a container and then delivering it to Point B. They have excellent resources and recommendations to give the mover the best chance of a successful transfer to their new location. Little things like informational emails, tips and ideas on how to pack the POD comforted me to know that they were ‘with’ me for the whole process and didn’t just ‘dump’ the container in the driveway and drove off. I would recommend them in a heartbeat and would use them again during the next heartbeat!

United States | 07 February 2025Moving is a very hectic task with young children especially relocating to a different state. The drivers for pods were great and even changing the dates a few times they were able to accommodate customer service wise. My issue is with the monthly billing cycle and how there's no proration or explained when inquiring for services. My billing cycle for one pod was the 24th of each month. I called the 25th or 26th to have the last pod delivered that was already local. Well they couldn't deliver it conveniently until three or four days later which puts me out of said grace period to not be charged the last month rent. They said if I called on the 24th they would've done it. Which absolutely makes no sense since pod still couldnt be delivered until the 30th. So six whole days which would've only be three falling in the said grace period if they could've delievered the pod next day I'd be refunded because I unloaded in 2 hours and was ready for pick up same day. So over 300 dollars their losing a future customer and will also tell anyone I know to stay clear of pods. Conveniently though the first pod that was not in said grace period was delivered the next day hmmm.

I only wish the first person I spoke with offered their 'city service' for same-day loading. That would've saved me a lot of city-permitting time and cost. But it all worked out in the end and I was very happy with the POD service as well as the customer service!
