Convenience and flexibility are two important factors, but transportation and storage costs were higher than expected.

I had three pods. One 8 foot and two 16 foot units. I moved from Palm Beach , Florida to their storage facility in Charlotte, NC where they stayed for a year while I was building a house. It was an A+ all the way. On time care full with my items and my home. I finally moved into my home and not one thing was broken. Thank you!!!

Schedule is highly inflexible, unpredictable, and I was told misinformation by representatives on the phone. additionally, it required five days for a two hour transit. I was also told I would be notified when my pod made it to the destination, but that was incorrect too. This led to a prolonged delay in receiving my household goods.

Rented a 12’ unit. Was very impressed with the ease of the whole process and the quality of the communication. Easy to place, unit was clean and a simple request to pick-up was all that it took to remove it once we were done needing the pod. Will definitely use again if needed.

I rented a pod on 2 separate occasions,both times I was sent a pod with ants and roaches, causing me to lose significant time and money while waiting for a new pod to be delivered & with no compensation.

Pod was delivered and facing the wrong way, the driver advised it was because of how they put it on the truck that way. It made for a really horrible experience and I couldn’t use it the way I needed to bc access was limited so I just had them to come back to get it. Absolute waste of money.

Ordering a PODS container is easy. They make it that way intentionally. They will deliver it whenever you want. After you order it and its on its way, they start making a profit you your customer service goes out the window. Upon delivery, I asked him to put it in a location about 36" from my carport so the entrance faced the carport. Of course I had to sign a waiver that basically gives PODS permission to destroy your property without retribution... and that's what they did. Left a big dent in my barndo carport. C'est la vie. They did promise me a monthly military discount which they later reneged and said it was for the first month only. Finally, scheduling a pickup was a nightmare. I work in Austin, TX five days a week and near Greenville, TX. I think it's fair to assume the pickup was as easy as the delivery; on a Saturday. I was informed they only pickup on Tuesdays but I didn't have to be present. Oh but I do... I have dogs and a locked gate to my property... someone has to be there to put the dogs away and unlock the gate for truck entry. After attempting to call them several times and getting put on hold with a wait time of four minutes (weird that it was always four minutes) the option is to push "1" on the keypad to hold your place in light and get a call back. I push "1" and the recording says "due to high call volumes, it may take several hours for a return call". So now the ability to talk to someone live is unpredictable at best...but they never called back anyway. Several times I went ahead and waited the "four" minutes and miraculously, it was four minutes. I say several times because twice during a transfer, the call dropped, and twice I was told they would have the "local" area supervisor call me back to work a Saturday delivery - this never happened, no one called me back. Finally I settled on Tuesday Deliver just to get rid of it - but since I am running out of characters, thats a boondoggle story for another day.
