United Kingdom | 03 March 2025Experience was good. From receiving samples and emailing queries to response times. I have a beautiful sofa which was ready within 6 weeks and not the 10 to 12 weeks. Th only downside was that delivery had to be made within a certain time or storage fees would apply.

(Note for future customers, this is an expensive option!) Upon receiving my feedback, Darlings of Chelsea went above and beyond to understand - and try to resolve - the situation. I am very pleased with the outcome and the support provided by the team. A big thank you to Natalie and Sherif for all of their help!

United Kingdom | 22 February 2025Quality of the leather is so poor (Family Industrial) that it is literally worn through - with holes in! - within 5 years of purchase. This is just from people sitting on it. Contacted customer services and told the leather is only guaranteed for one year. After spending over £10,000 on a sofa, I expected much better quality and much better customer service.

United Kingdom | 20 February 2025Darlings (Ash Vale) have a fabulous range of quality sofas and products, with a great array of options on sizes / colours, so you can find something to perfectly fit your space - which is what drew me to their store. The sales assistant was very helpful in ensuring I chose the right product for my needs, and in explaining the options. The only reason I've not given five stars is that the post sales service I experienced was not so good. There was a delay in the completion of my order due to faulty fabric and delivery was further delayed by an internal admin error, so my delivery was eventually outside of normal lead times. Post sales, I felt it was down to me to chase things up, no-one reached out proactively to explain or manage delays. Although Christopher did promptly respond when I finally wrote to expedite my issue. This is the one area where Darlings could do better to keep customers in the loop, maybe by an automated contact process, or system/portal to save a customer feeling they have to constantly chase up for any progress or action. This experience echos other comments on post sales service on this site, so feels worth a share. I am delighted with my sofa which finally arrived this week. A premium product and price, with a premium sales service, which should be matched, in my opinion, by equally premium post sales customer care. If this one area could be improved, it would be 5 star all round. I hope this feedback can be considered by the company.

The fabric choices are great, and the sales team in the showroom are so helpful, and you feel like you can choose without being pushed or rushed. The member of the team whom I was lucky enough to deal with kept me informed about my delivery and even helped me get it a few weeks earlier. The delivery team was great, and I now have a lovely sofa that is very comfortable and looks amazing.

United Kingdom | 08 February 2025Awful experience. they quoted their incorrect terms and conditions to us to make us pay a fee to change sofas. In the end asked for a refund. Refund has been given with deductions and no communication. Company can’t understand their own terms and conditions. I’ll await to see if they sort correctly or whether it’s small claims court we go. Such a shame. For a £5.5k sofa I’d expect this kind of service from dfs not darlings of Chelsea.

The service we have received from beginning to end has been superb - something which doesn’t always happen with the ‘best’ of Companies.
