United Kingdom | 20 February 2025Two tumble dryers were requested to be fixed. I have a basic understanding of how they work and had researched the parts required. When the technician arrived (2 hours late) he said they were not worth repairing. Confused, I asked why and he explained that the way the company works is to vastly overprice the cost of the parts in order to cover the extra callout. The technician didn't bring the parts despite a very accurate description of the fault and model details, so a repeat visit was always going to be needed. I wrote to Glotech to express my concerns, but received no response. They are now threatening debt recovery without answering my query. A disgraceful ethic and I hope a company that will fail quickly as people start to cotton on to their tactics.

United Kingdom | 20 February 2025I knew what the problem was because of the error code I gave the washing machine details and was surprised that the engineer did not come with a new door latch. Instead, after arriving late, he confirmed it was the door latch and then left us without a working machine for a week before retuning with the spare part. Machine is now fixed but surely if the customer knows what the issue it would be more efficient to make one visit with the relevant spare part ( of course at the customers risk if they are wrong).

United Kingdom | 18 February 2025Poor service , called and book an Engineer to look at oven , they give impression it’s their own engineers attending when it’s a 3rd party company. The engineer told us the part would be £50 but we were then quoted £125.Called Glotech to challenge the costs , told we would get a call back , we didn’t get a call back. Phoned again to be told we have to deal with the 3rd party engineers. We paid £105 for the call out , either the engineer is totally wrong or the company are pulling a fast one and taking advantage of the cost oof spare part either way would not recommend Glotech.

It's good they do a six months warranty too, I've made a note of the date he came and I know I can contact them again within that time should I need to. The problems I had with ice forming on the base of the freezer have gone, engineer very pleasant and helpful.
