Only issue I have is he promised to send a key cover for the drivers door which was missing, I haven't seen this yet! Other than that, very happy.

United Kingdom | 06 July 2023Hpl preston branch After returning a faulty car still waiting for my £100 deposit back utter cowboys through and through they ignore you if u need anything oh u can’t return the car erm yep I can and did give them a wide birth went else where got a better deal on a brand new one elsewhere been emailing a few months for deposit back still being ignored never again didn’t have the 128 point check as states they all get mot history on it advisories wasn’t repaired a lot more issues and of course they deny it

Thanks Nathan for being patient. We then collected the car at an agreed date and everything was in order. We loved the fact that there was no pushy sales person and we highly recommend HPL.

United Kingdom | 29 June 2023Poor aftercare We are repeat customers of HPL, and on our third car from them which speaks volumes about the service we have received in the past. However, our most recent purchase was less than 3 months ago, and we are already experiencing issues. We contacted the Preston branch where we got the car from and they agreed to book it in to diagnose the following week. It was taken in today and we was provided with a quote for the parts that are causing the fault and in need of replacing - clearly a shock to us having only got the keys for the car back end of March. Whilst we recognise extended warranties are offered on reserving the vehicle, and where the offer of not purchasing such warranties come with risks, we thought that, with being repeat customers, HPL could do more. I escalated this with the service manager who did give us the time and tried to get the price down, but at the expense of taking the car in to a different branch (not ideal at all and is further away). Whilst the cost saving offered and proposal to go to an alternate branch was put to us, I am disappointed that more can't be done. Sadly, I don't think honesty has been 100% here, thus it isn't going to produce any further loyalty from us.

United Kingdom | 27 June 2023I had such an amazing time buying my first car for hpl in Oldham the customer service was amazing especially Filip Ognyanov he made this experience so easy, he kept me updated the full time where my car was upto and how long it may take, being able to buy my first car the thought of it was so scary as someone who doesn’t know much about cars, but he talked me through everything I needed to and he was very helpful. Will definitely be recommending Filip and HPL to friends and family, I love my new Hyundai brilliant first car and it was so easy thanks to these guys 😁

He helped me find my ideal car, brought a Tesla Model 3 Long Range in from another branch, wasn’t keen on it when it came, no problem whatsoever, Sam found another, a Performance edition, took it for a test drive, knew straight away this was the one. Part exchange was fair and straightforward. Overall, a great car buying experience.

United Kingdom | 19 June 2023A big thank you to Ari for selling me the best (and most expensive) car I’ve ever owned. I saw an add on auto trader for an xtrail with the spec I wanted on a evening late about 7ish Didn’t expect them to be open, but I was passed on to Ari just before 8pm who informed me he would call me as soon as he had more info on when car would be in as was still with owner. Called me next day as promised with a very professional video on email of the car in its current state. He did not try to hide any scuffs or marks, was very knowledgeable about the car, and impressed me what he had to offer in the package, so I reserved the car as spec is sought after. When I drove the 3 hours to see car on weekend, Ari, greeted me, handed me the key to look it over whilst he dealt with another customer as I was early, and then took me out for a test drive once he was available. There was steering wobble On braking at 50mph, but no other issues. On returning, I still wanted the car as Ari explained they would not let it go without being mechanically sound, an new mot as it needed one and any advisories and things in the 128 point check. On picking the car up a week a later it had had a new mot , 2 new tyres, new brake discs and pads, which fixed the wheel wobble, a service and its 128 point check which I have a certificate with tick boxes and a signature of what has been checked. Car was very clean, and I was very happy. Transfer of money went smooth, Ari sorted the tax for me, log book on its way and promised to send second key on its arrival from other garage. I drove the car home nearly 200 miles on A roads, and cannot find any fault as yet. I have read a few negative reviews on trust pilot but can only comment on my experience with HPL motors, and Ari, who I can tell loves cars, and is an asset to the company. I would definitely consider using again despite the mileage from where i live All the best Ari- thanks for the motor

I am really pleased with my car and the experience of dealing with such a good company and in particular with Simon who helped me in my purchase. He guided me through my chosen vehicle in a very professional and courteous manner. He explained all the vehicles functions and controls on my test drive and dealt with my questions and queries about the vehicle. There were a few minor scratches on the vehicle but I was reassured that they would be dealt with by Simon before collection. Which they were, and to a very high standard. During and after the sale Simon explained all the paperwork and procedures and even took me to the Post Office to tax the vehicle after the purchase. I would recommend HPL motors and in particular Simon for a Vehicle purchase

I've hired specialized solicitors, and I'm already aware that this company has also harmed other people. Before going there, make sure to protect yourself by researching the company beforehand to avoid further headaches!

Firstly when we test drove the car we listed several problems that would need to be sorted before we collected we were told ‘ absolutely we will get this done for you we do a ‘ 60 point check’ or however many point, quite clearly a 0 point check considering the mechanics are on commission for what they do so just rush to get out the cars they sell per week. This was evident when we collected the car and the tyre light was on along with the service light and the tracking we had requested to be done hadn’t, oh and the reversing camera was smashed, the steering wheel constantly vibrated as well as the clutch juddering and the hand brake didn’t work. Just what you expect when collecting a 15 grand car ey? Would never purchase anything from them again not sure how they have 5 stars under their name when they haven’t got this on trust pilot or Google. ALSO of course they ask you to leave a review before you even get in the car that’s how they’ve got more than a one star. To tip it off if you get gap insurance or warranty the warranty stands for NOTHING the clutch has been juddering on the car since we collected it and apparently it’s not covered??? Neither is the wiring loom on our headlight. If you’re getting the car on finance you get your car and then the warranty and gap comes under a ‘ personal loan’ which also was NEVER explained. As long as they have your money it’s ok. Should have known better than to shop at a car super market

United Kingdom | 25 May 2023I bought a VW Tiguan 68 plate from this garage in December. It was fine for 3 months and then the car developed issues. I took it back to the garage and each time it was given back to me with new issues. I had no car for 2 months whilst they tried to fix it. At no time was I allowed a hire car. I had no car. When I complained, I was laughted at. I have since sold the car and will never buy from them again. They are great until you have issues. The warranty means nothing.

United Kingdom | 12 May 2023Disgraceful company. I strongly recommend you do not go anywhere near HPL Motors. Find another business who knows the law around distance sales and what that means for refund of deposits placed over the telephone and via their website. HPL Motors does not, and appears to have no intention of complying with the law. I saw a car on their website and placed an allegedly 'no quibble' deposit by telephone to hold a vehicle for a couple of days in order to see it in person. I changed my mind and asked for a refund. All entirely permissible under the Distance Selling Regulations. But HPL Motors has refused to make the refund on the basis that I have to go into the branch in person in order to get my money back (a 4 hour round trip). This was never mentioned as a condition of the so-called 'no quibble' deposit. In any event, under the Distance Selling Regulations, HPL Motors cannot make any such 'condition' on a deposit placed by telephone or on their website. HPL Motors is clearly in breach of the law (which I checked and confirmed with Citizens Advice, who have also passed on a report to Trading Standards). All of this has been explained by e-mail to HPL Motors. They couldn't care less and have not answered a single e-mail I have sent to them. Out of interest I asked a friend to make an enquiry by e-mail one evening about one of their vehicles and, guess what, they replied at 8 am the next day. I think that speaks for itself. Remember HPL Motor's mantra: "Honesty Produces Loyalty". Yeah, pull the other one. I strongly advise you to avoid HPL Motors at all costs.

United Kingdom | 11 May 2023Went to HPL Oldham today to look at and purchase a car I had seen online, I had the worst experience of my life. I spoke to a chap and got passed on to someone else whilst he pottered off to do a sale with another customer who came in after me. The chap I got passed onto looked so miserable, whilst in mid conversation another customer walked over put some papers down and said I'm here to pick up a car to which I was left stood there speechless whilst he got up and went with the other customer...rude !!..49 minutes I waited, nothing no update nothing just left stood there looking like a complete tool, finally seen the chap again and he said I can't find the car. I left !! I will take my custom elsewhere.
