The delivery was good, however the company's administration was poor as I requested and paid for assembly, which did not happen, leaving me to assemble the shelving myself. Some of the jointing could have been better but was only noticeable as I put it all together. The finished assembly overall looks wonderful and I am happy to say that Ercol promptly refunded the assembly payment.

The online ordering process was easy and it was good to receive an email from the company to clarify certain details. That was reassuring. The furniture was delivered about 3 weeks before the expected date which was welcomed. The delivery team were excellent on the day in advising of the anticipated time and a call 45 minutes to an hour before the actual delivery. They were courteous and delivered promptly. The furniture is excellent and precisely as described.

Enjoyed in store experience and the delivery was very smooth. Dining table and chairs wonderful except leather on one dining chair seat loose. Has been attended to by Homeserve but problem seems to be recurring.

We bought a table and chairs at the factory sale. They are beautiful Ercol furniture and would get 5 stars. The reason we only give 4 stars is because the table could not be taken apart to get into the house. This was because it was an ex-display model and one of the bolts was stripped and could not be undone. Thankfully we had paid for "deliver to room of choice" and the delivery men patiently waited while we removed an internal door to allow the table through. Whilst we knew it was an ex display model, and therefore probably sold as seen, we assumed it would fit through standard doors or could be dismantled. Dimensions were not discussed at any time nor the fact it could not be dismantled. The chairs were no problem. All the furniture is beautifully made and really well packaged to ensure no damage during transport and delivery and we are delighted owners of Ercol furniture now!

I could write a book about why I love Ercol furniture. It started as a small kid, the bedroom I shared with my brother in the early 1950s had two oak six drawer tallboys. They are still with me after 70 years and still in excellent condition. Obviously now I’m getting older, but I’ve always found that if you buy Ercol furniture it not only lasts a lifetime but it makes life easy when you need to compliment your existing items. We love the Windsor collection and bought a lot over the years, it’s never gone out of fashion. We have a home full of Ercol most of it bought in the 1960s /1970s always in light wood that still gets admired today by visitors. Of course it doesn’t come cheap but paying a bit more for a quality item is better than buying multiple times if the quality doesn’t match. Ercol also supply quality fabrics that last years. With so many colour ways you can extend the life of soft furnishings, you just buy replacement covers and cushions. I’m sure I’m one of hundreds or even thousands of people who love Ercol & with good reason. What other brand can you buy knowing after many years you can still find a match item, for an item you bought maybe 50 years ago? There’s hundreds of manufacturer’s of furniture. Most things after 20 years of use nowadays you would have a job to give away or even have to pay to be taken to the tip. Not Ercol, there’s a thriving used market. Some items even from the 1920s/1930s are very collectible. Regardless of cost new or used personally I honestly love the stuff. I hope Ercol just forever caries on being Ercol and sticks always to the same principles that have made so many love this wonderful practical easy to live with furniture. A massive five golden & very glittering stars from me.

The company performed as it said it would, i.e. product was ready for delivery when it was promised. Delivery was well organised and the personnel who actually delivered the product were courteous, professional and extremely helpful.

Excellent products at fair prices

I have ordered +3k worth of furniture. I’d really like a swatch to be able to choose paint. I’ve asked 3 times via the website and tried to call today (no answer). What more can I do please?

Good website, fast service.

I asked a question on ebay about one of the items they had on sale but not in the finish I wanted. I was directed to their factory outlet where they did have one. There was a considerable saving on the RRP. Luckily, the delivery company they used was able to deliver the following week. The item was exceptionally well packed and protected and arrived in perfect condition.

Great value as our purchase was from an Ercol outlet sales. Delivered earlier than our original expectations, which was communicated well.

Many years ago I bought an Evergreen chair and was very pleased with it - beautifully designed and exceptionally comfortable. Recently I decided I would like another and was amazed to find that you still make them to order. You stated that delivery would be in 8 weeks and so it was — bang on time! Perfect in detail and service and a credit to British enterprise.
