Delivery was much earlier than expected and delighted with the piece of furniture we purchased.

The item is of excellent quality, as you always expect from Ercol, and it was exactly as in the pictures, the deliver was prompt and very professional, they arranged a date to suit me, gave a small window time for arrival and then set it up and took away all the packaging, AND were very pleasant.

After waiting 17wks for my 3 pieces of Aosta furniture to arrive. All 3 pieces needed a technician. Legs didn’t fit, legs fell off legs couldn’t be tightened.2 pieces were repaired.. However my chair had faulty fittings so the legs wouldn’t fit no matter what. 5 emails and images were sent to Ercol . I received 1 reply, just say I it wasn’t their usual standard. Sadly this iconic British brand seems to have zero interest in the customers satisfaction. In the 1 conversion I had with Ercol I was told it’s not the furniture that’s the problem, rather my perception. And yes I have to wait another 17 wks for a replacement chair, as I’m told every piece is made to order in Poland . I fail to believe there isn’t 1 chair within the business.Meanwhile my £1000+ chair is on the floor no legs , little better than a bean bag. Where is the quality control? a chair with 4 legs isn’t much to expect. A reply to the detailed images and email? Again the very least I could expect. I’m taking delivery of a nest of pebble tables this weekend , I’m praying they’re ok. Im thinking these issues are isolated so even more puzzled where no one will take ownership of the problem.I feel the email is looked at, realise it’s a complaint and just move on. This is a brand I have loved for many years, my son says I’m an Ercolholic.I would love to fill my home with items i cherish and adore as the brochure says. It’s a pity I will be waiting 8 months for that to happen . My supplier has been great, but their hands are tied. Some communication from Ercol is all it would have taken to stop this matter escalating. So terribly disappointing. Great to have received a reply. To clarify though, I wasn’t offered a repair by the technician. It wasn’t something that could be done on site. It requires 2 new back leg fittings not an adjustment. It would mean sawing the frame and then screwing new fittings on . The strength of the frame would surly be compromised ? It’s a new piece of furniture too, so not ideal. Besides that i waited 3 weeks for a technician to call, if it could I of been fixed he would have done it. Also it is a new piece of furniture, it’s surly not acceptable to start sawing it up? I would also like to add,my supplier has been extremely helpful, however they were not receiving any updates so after 9 weeks , {which doesn’t seem very fast tracked} we were both left wondering what was happening. It seems now perhaps someone has taken ownership of this issue.

All went like clock-work, from the order processing to delivery (which was doorstep, but the delivery guys put it in our hall). So well packed, needs to be mind if it is now all made abroad!

I have written many times to ercol outlet saying what was delivered was faulty. Initially I asked for it to be repaired but my daughter in law came and screwed in the shelf although cracked. I have asked for compensation for a faulty product (have other pics of damage) or total replacement but since the initial response on 4 July from Ercol have heard nothing. A refund is no good to me because I have already got rid of previous media/TV unit.

Furniture delivered quickly after the order was placed and suited my house well.

I bought an Ercole dinning table and bench (Monza bench) from Furniture Village a few months ago. The wooden rails of the bench started falling off only after a couple of months of usage. I've reported it to Furniture village and a technician was sent who only glued the rails back to the bench. No surprise that the rails kept falling again after only a few days. I called Furniture village but, they say because it was a clearance item their 2-year structural guarantee only means they can only send another technician to glue the rails back and they will not going to replace it. I am really frustrated with the whole process. I don't know if Furniture village has sold me a faulty good or there is an issue with the design of this bench and how I should fix it. can Ercole help me?
