About PitPat

PitPat is a pet wellness company that creates products and services to support and inspire pet parents to keep their dogs, happy, healthy and safe. PitPat began because we recognised that our relationship with dogs has changed. The traditional animal-owner relationship does not apply. Dogs are no longer possessions but a member of the family and we’re no longer owners but pet parents. Naturally, we want to keep them happy, healthy and safe by giving them the best care possible. But with so much to consider and so much conflicting and contradictory advice, pet parents are overwhelmed. That’s where PitPat comes in. We take away the guesswork and give pet parents the confidence to know they’re doing the right thing for their dog. Our connected world means we’re there for pet parents through every step of their dog’s life. We're removing the guesswork with propositions that inform, inspire and support pet parents to make better, more individual choices, that improve the lives of not only their pets but all pets. Reliable GPS tracking with no subscription Food that’s good for you, good for your dog and good for the planet Uncomplicated Insurance that rewards healthy dogs Affordable activity monitoring to keep your dog healthy So don’t worry pet parents, we got you! What's the bigger picture? Well, one day, we see a future where having a little device on your dog’s collar that helps you look after them better will be the norm. We see a world where pet care is active not passive, proactive not reactive and individual not general. Need more convincing? The population-level insights we’re gathering from the hundreds of thousands of dogs that have already joined us are going to completely revolutionise pet care. So having a PitPat doesn’t just benefit your dog but all dogs!

The app was really good easy to understand it's good to be able to track your pet if it should go missing

Not worth the money. Battery lasts maximum 6 days and takes nearly a full day to charge from 0%-100%. To charge you have to remove the Velcro etc which is just weakening the Velcro so feel it’ll end up falling off and getting lost soon. The location takes ages to connect and update and isn’t accurate.

I paid for a hair test on18 November £42.21has been taken from my account but I am still waiting for the test to arrive. I was told after complaining that it would be delivered shortly but still not here. I have warned everyone thinking of using your company not to!!

Good range and useful in that you can see the field view or a directional view eg: stating that your dog is 350 yards behind you and compass arrow showing direction. We wanted a tracker that did not require a monthly subscription and this one fits the bill so far.

Really happy with the pit pat tracker. Easy to set up and use. Ideal not needing to pay monthly fees. Feel relaxed we won't lose our wandering dog when he escapes the garden.

An amazing product with fantastic customer care support! I recently got a 2 yrs old rescue dog which turned out to be keen to wander off, as I live on a farm with acres of open fields and woods, I had to find a gadget that would help me find her but that wouldn’t cost a fortune and wouldn’t have a monthly/yearly licence. Pitpat suited me perfectly and thanks to their very functional/accurate gps app I locate my dog within a couple of minutes. Thank you PitPat PS the dog is finally learning to stay at home 😃

Honestly, really disappointed 😞 won't connect to satellites. I have tried in a few areas and after minuets of waiting for connection the dog has travelled further away. I have connected pitpat. I would not recommend this product at all.

Its easy to set up and use and the battery lasts a good few days before needing recharge Only downside is That it takes a good 10/15 mins to locate dog so we must always put it on before we need it The map detail on location is great

Loving product - easy to use & early experience suggests good quality & reliability. Excellent responsiveness from customer support when I had a question. Areas that would benefit from further enhancement are in the App - facility to chose unit of measurement for distance covered (ie km or miles); better facility for aggregating data (e.g week/month/year rather than just 'since joining'); facility to export data. These thoughts arise because it is such a good product I want to make even more use of it!

Yes it is good because it is subscription free. It is not great in low 4G networks, but eventually does the job. I would suggest that the next model has a led on it so that it could be found easily and a buzzer both to aid recovery and enable us to signal to our dog to return after a pheasant hunt. But it does reassure us that the dog is not tangled up in undergrowth!

I use this to check my wife's location. She suffers from dementia and although she likes to visit a shop daily on her own tends to get lost. Not really what its intended for I know but response is slow - sometimes it's five minutes between updates even when set to 'urgent'. The signal may be attenuated by clothing or it may be an urban environment where buildings obscure satellites. Not a complaint. It does what it claims to do. I just thought you'd be interested in my experience. I expect it would work fine with a dog in the countryside. Battery consumption is negligible. 2% in 40 minutes.
