My experience at the Hounslow store was dire - in fact, this company deserves no stars for the absence of any semblance of customer service. All the staff were miserable and unwelcoming. I asked the lady assistant to value a 50-inch 9k rose gold chain and a 0.5 carat, 9k white gold, certified, circle of life pendant. Firstly, the amount per gram offered for 9k gold is well below the going rate - it should be reviewed fairly and adjusted as gold prices rise (and fall). Secondly, there was no proper equipment to examine the gold, it was tested by gouging at the chain with a metal implement and then applying a liquid, which provided an "inconclusive" result - even though both items were stamped 9k and hallmarked. Surely a company of this size can provide proper electronic testing equipment if it insists on employing staff that clearly don't have the necessary experience or skill to recognise authentic gold items. Additionally, the assistant then said (with a straight face), that diamonds (certified ones at that) are not worth anything and made an offer of £30 for the pendant! A total waste of time - I took both items back home. This company’s extremely poor customer service and insulting behaviour to potential customers, via unprofessional staff who treat them as fools, is guaranteed a bad review across several review sites. My advice is to avoid this shambles of an outfit like the plague and go elsewhere with proper standards of customer care – and the five-star reviews (posted just after a bad review) don’t seem authentic to me.

Went into the Cowley road oxford store, I was served by Clover, very very helpful, very friendly, the service was quick and no need to send off the gold. Like some places do. Clover was very very sufficient.money went straight into my acc which was fabulous. Will definitely go there again. Thank you
