United Kingdom | 05 November 2024Would not buy this product , my daughter bought the swan dirt master crossover vacume cleaner she had it 6 months with no problems. The hoover caught fire while in use after 6 months dispite the fact she managed to put it out side and put the fire out the battery reignited itself on the garden . The fire brigade were called and placed the battery in a bucket and told my daughter to keep it there for 3 days then remove it as they wouldn't take it away . My daughter informed Swan who promised to pick up the hoover to investigate. Swan picked up the hoover after a week but refused to take the battery with it . My daughter did get a full refund but was disturbed by swan not taking the battery with the hoover to investigate the cause of the fire . Please be vigilant if purchasing this hoover . My daughter still as not had any feed back from swan as to what cause it to catch fire .

They were quick to reply and offered me an alternative colour set because mine wasn't in stock, but as I preferred to wait until it was, they kept me up to date by email until today they said it was back in and had been sent out. Cannot fault the service at all. Also want to add that we have all our kitchen items from swan and have only ever had a problem with this particular item so hard to fault anything else. Great brand. Chioma from customer care really was helpful and her speediness to reply was faultless.

He’s arranging a replacement and has been updating me as and when necessary as initially the cleaner was out of stock . Have been contacted today to say they’re in stock and a replacement is on its way xx thank you
