CASE CURRENTLY WITH FINANCIAL OMBUDSMAN AS AUTO 100 REFUSED TO TAKE ISSUE SERIOUSLY ❌ AUTO 100 sold us a vehicle with a serious SAFETY RECALL Absolute ZERO service from the moment you drive away they wash their hands of you. Keep your fingers crossed nothing is or goes wrong with your EXPENSIVE VEHICLE This safety recall stated the fault on the vehicle could “lead to fire in the engine compartment and could propagate to the whole vehicle” “Please treat this matter with the urgency it requires “ THIS VEHICLE WAS SOLD ILLEGALLY TO US We approached Auto 100 regarding this illegal sale within 30 days of collection of the vehicle. After countless failed attempts to contact Auto 100 on the telephone and email and following legal advice, we expressed our wish to exercise our “Short term right to reject this dangerous vehicle” as this vehicle was mid-sold to us under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Auto 100 were dismissive, abrupt and rude. Their customer service was way below the standard expected from a supposed professional retailer. This dismissal of our right to return the vehicle having being sold to us ILLEGALLY we were then forced to involve the authorities and report this issue to the Drivers and Vehicle Standards Agency DVSA and Trading Standards. The DVSA is very clear on the point of law. Attached is taken from the DVSA official website. It’s an offence for a motor dealer to sell a car with an outstanding vehicle safety recall. They need to get it fixed before a car is sold.”  We have now lodged this complaint with the Financial Ombudsman to pursue this matter as Auto 100 will not address this matter. Astonishing. Both Trading Standards and the DVSA were very interested in investigating this case and this matter is ongoing. We further now have involved the Financial Ombudsman at our time and expense. So here is our horrendous experience of Auto 100, Huthwaite, Sutton In Ashfield NG17 2HU in November 2023. It transpired in correspondence following our complaint, the vehicle was purchased by Auto 100 at British Car Auctions BCA and simply sold on. It is clear none of the necessary Safety Checks which a retailer is legally bound to check and rectify were carried out. Auto 100 did NOT comply with the standards expected of them by law, thus, leading to an illegal sale. All these points have been put to Auto 100 and their reply simply was “report us to whom you like” Absolutely shocking.

Bad experience last week with these Guys. Enquired about a car we liked on AutoTrader. Called & spoke to Ryan who promised to email details for a reservation to be made. Apparently this email got stuck in his outbox until the following day... Once received, we discovered that he was asking for £2,000 to reserve the car, despite their advert showing a £500 fee for this? Not unsurprisingly we declined this as we were not familiar with the Trader & it was at odds with their advert. He then replied by email & reduced this to a £1,000 also stating that they would not invest their time & effort in preparing the car to view if we did not agree to pay this amount up front. When I called to discuss this further an hour or so later - He advised the car had just been reserved by someone who had already viewed it! We got the distinct impression that he did not want to sell the car to us & would surmise that my interest was purely used as leverage to encourage the other party to finally pull the trigger! Beware Sharp Practice...

From the off, Chris and Adam were professional and friendly during my recent purchase. The cars at this company are of the highest quality and a competitive price. I couldn't find a better deal for my choice of vehicle The preparation and finish of my purchase was second to none. I have recommended Auto 100 to my friends and family, and I am sure they will be seeing us again.

We recently picked up our stunning Range Rover Vogue from Auto100. We were initially drawn to the dealership by the spec of the cars and the service history included with them. From the moment we started speaking to Anthony we felt looked after. He was very helpful from the start. He walked us through the buying process and was very patient whilst helping us decide on the right car. On pick up day the service was again fantastic. Anthony was again great and then the gentleman ( whose name we have forgotten in the excitement sorry! ) who dealt with the finance and handover was also amazing. A professional, friendly dealership who genuinely seem to care about their clients. The car itself was pristine upon collection and we couldn’t be happier with it. I bought a rangrover few weeks ago , it came with few problems which it’s been sorted after few time call and they never call you back !!! When I picked up my my car fuel tank was very empty which is not professional at all !!! They are only nice with you when you looking for car not after you paid!

Recently bought a Mercedes from Auto100. First class experience from making the enquiry with Richard, agreeing a part-exchange price for my Tesla, viewing the Mercedes to purchasing and dealing with Adam. The car was exactly as described. The warranty information and vehicle history was provided and explained in detail. There was a delay with my bank and security during the payment process and Adam was very patient and relaxed whilst this was happening. Really great staff and company. Quick to respond and ultimate professionals. There was slight wait for the ceramic coating warranty and as a goodwill gesture I have received some free products.

From the moment I arrived the team at Auto100 provided an excellent level of service. From my choice of car to keeping me informed about every aspect of its preparation and eventual purchase Adam, Joe and the rest of the team went the extra mile to ensure I found the right car at the right price.

An excellent company to deal with would highly recommend them to anyone. The service we received from start to finish was 100% and every query we had was dealt with immediately and courteously. The car we bought was in showroom condition, just as described in the advert, and the sales team took time to explain a few extra gadgets on the car before we left on our journey home. They also gave us the best trade in price on the car we were trading in and this was checked by ourselves on numerous comparison sites. So I would say if you are looking for a prestige car then take the time to check out this company and you will not be disappointed.

I completed the purchase of a Range Rover from Auto 100 just before Christmas and having bought many cars over the years can say from experience that this is without a doubt the smoothest and best buying experience ever. From initial contact with James Scott to pick up was quick and error free. The car was prepared to a superb standard so the handover was a particularly pleasant experience. I can even comment on their after sales service as I have had an issue that has been dealt with promptly and professionally. I would happily buy from Auto100 again.
