Very nice people & great equipment

First time. The kids loved every minute seconds. Thanks Cruise America for helping us experience this trip.

This was our first time renting a RV, and we are glad we chose Cruise America. The check in and check out process was easy and quick. They were very courteous and answered our questions. The inside was very clean and the RV was easy to operate.

The rental process was great, most the people we dealt with were great, but the RV’s were crap and dirty. All the vinyl stuck to the services because they weren’t cleaned, there were ripes in the vinyl and the coating on the table and other areas. The fridge would not cool anything down so all our food was wasted. The freezer wouldn’t even open. Hot water didn’t work and toilet was a mess that had to be scrubbed and sanitized before we left out house. Generator died night 2 and we had to go from wild and free to paying for KOA’s.

The team was great. The RV was very clean and tidy.

The RV wasnt the cleanest smelling due to the mice in behind the cabinets. Not much support from the original pick up location.

This review is for the booking experience. Due to logistical reasons, we did not actually rent the vehicle. But I was able to book online with the assistance of customer service within five minutes. I had to try and change plans and the gentleman on the phone was very patient and very helpful. Even when I had to cancel, they were helpful and pleasant. Rare to have good customer service with good English skills these days.

Motorhome was clean and ready to go. Remember these are designed and built as rental units, they are basic motorhomes. Reserving, picking up, and drop off was easy. There were a couple small issues with the motorhome once on the trip (couple loose brackets) which I was able to fix. The motorhome I was given was a 2019 model with 130,000 miles on it. The only complaint I had was, Cruise America, stop putting rubber floor protectant on the driver and passenger floorboards. This protectant got on the bottom of my shoes which made them very slippery, even to where my shoes would slip off the brake and gas pedal.

Good things about our Cruise America 25' Ford 350 RV rental: Engine performed very well, as did the refrigerator, gas stove, & generator; interior lights very adequate, 25' length RV easy to park & maneuver, cab seating very comfortable & bed mattresses comfortable. Things needing improvement: Black/ gray water tanks leaked all during the trip, drawers in kitchen area not secure when driving, the RV rattled ( side entry door, kitchen cabinets/ appliances, pedestal table) horribly on all but the smoothest of roads, microwave not secure in the housing, truck A/C worked only part of the time, city water connection leaked whenever connected, very minimal orientation given by rental company where we picked up the RV.

I have rented from cruise America for years now. Never had an issue. The employees are really nice. I made a reservation months in advance, and didn't realize I made it for the wrong date. Totally my fault I just wonder why I couldn't get a call a week before as a reminder this would have saved me from losing my deposit. I saved all year for this vacation and to lose that amount of money was a huge loss. I'm grateful they where able to rent me a much smaller one. We made it work. As a great service to your customers a phone call would be great we all have a lot going on.

I had to call and book my trip, because of system glitch, and my experience was wonderful. Matt Quintana, the CSR that helped me from start to finish, was absolutely amazing. He was so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I haven't taken my trip yet, so I can not give a review on the actual motor home experience, but booking over the phone, with Matt, was a breeze.

Availability, price & convenient location

We got an RV with break issues, they did not wanto to change it, then during the trip the tank fall , they took more than 6 hours to get there, we lost two days of our vacations, and after they fixed the tank we had a terrible smell inside the RV. We had many bad experiences and they did not seem to care about ut. Terrible terrible experience with cruise america
