Canada | 10 November 2024We rented out of Henderson Nevada near Vegas. Customer service was great when we arrived and prior to our arrival. The RV worked well mechanically during our entire 2 weeks. Our problem is with the condition of the unit. It was VERY tired on the inside, we could cope with that, but the FILTHY interior was a real turn off. We had to buy a bucket cleaner and rags and clean for a couple of hours just to use it. I don't think the floor had ever been washed! When we mentioned how dirty the unit was when we returned it they just shrugged there shoulders like they did not care. I won't use Cruise America again.

Germany | 01 November 2024I recently returned from what should have been a relaxing vacation with a Cruise America camper—but it turned into a series of frustrating issues. From water damage and a broken fridge to a *five-day mouse infestation* that damaged our clothes and disrupted our sleep, the trip became a nightmare. To make matters worse, the camper's bed was so uncomfortable it led to a painful herniated disc, confirmed by MRI. Adding insult to injury, after multiple attempts to resolve my claim with Cruise America's insurance, I'm still waiting for a response. I set a deadline for October 23rd, yet no update and no clear plan to address these issues. For anyone considering renting with Cruise America—please take caution. This experience left me not only out of pocket from multiple calls but also enduring lasting pain. **@CruiseAmerica**, I am reaching out once again for accountability.

United States | 30 October 2024I just wanted to take a moment to provide positive feedback for my overall experience with customer relations (Darren). I know it can be easier at times to always stick to policies & procedures however your strong customer focus did not go unnoticed and that is exactly what will keep me coming back to Cruise America as a customer.

United Kingdom | 22 October 2024Firstly the problems,we booked the early bird pick up and drop off option. We were informed we would be picked up fro our hotel at 10 am (early ?),this failed to materialise. We rang depot to be told they were just about to phone us as the driver failed to turn up. We were told to get a taxi from Boston to Worcester, and eventually got there around 11,30am.We sat at the depot for about an hour waiting to be seen, with Doberman dog wandering around in reception, not very professional! After a brief hand over we got on our way about1pm,not the early start we paid for.Luckily our first campsite was only a couple of hours away. The RV drove very reliably, although the equipment inside looked a little 'tired',the only problems we had were, the carbon monoxide detector decided to go off continuously for no apparent reason, this was resolved by contacting Cruise Americas service department by phone, very good service, and getting propane proved difficult, although not Cruise America fault.Holiday was great, although edge was taken off by previous comments. Will we use Cruise America again possibly as problems weren't a deal breaker,Laurie Woodliffe & Kay Rhodes England.

United States | 20 October 2024Excellent Customer service! This was my first RV rental reservation experience. After searching other on-line venues (and enchanting difficulties) I found Cruise America. As I went through the on-line reservation process, I had questions. How refreshing to find a phone number and have a human answer. Derek, the customer service representative, was informative, thoughtful, and thorough. He made the reservation with me and explained everything. I am very pleased so far!

United States | 15 October 2024Hi. I decided to rent a camper for a short trip (4 days). I had a gift certificate from 2020 for $300 from when COVID occurred. You refused to let me use the gift certificate, because it expired in 2022, at what was pretty much the end of COVID. I was very frustrated and canceled my reservation.

Spain | 13 October 2024On August 8th 2024, we rented an RV in Calgary. Upon picking it up, we noticed that its maintenance and cleanliness were not up to standard. Therefore, we asked if they had any other RV available for a swap, but we were told that everything was booked. On August 10th, the second day of the rental, we ran out of water due to a problem with the exterior city connection valve. Whether we used the city water connection or the water tank with the pump, in both cases, the water shot out of the vehicle and it was also leaking internally under the bed where there were electrical connections, posing a risk to us. Therefore, we couldn't use anything related to water inside the vehicle (shower, bathroom, sink, etc.). We called Cruise Canada, sent emails to customer service and the assistance service, but since it was the weekend they couldn't offer us a solution... we were without water for a total of 8 out of the 13 days we had rented the RV. After presenting our case to customer service, we were offered a ridiculous compensation for the nightmare we suffered during our vacation and the price we paid for renting an old and outdated motorhome. This is not the experience we planned to have on our summer vacation, and it has completely ruined the trip we had been planning for a long time. Please AVOID this company at all costs. Their fleet is excessively old and poorly maintained, the roadside assistance service is non-existent, and they don’t care about their customers. The best thing you can do is book with Fraserway or Canadream as they have much newer and higher-quality fleets.

United States | 12 October 2024This company ruined my family vacation trip. I booked a RV from Jul 18 for 13 days to Oregon and Washington state from California. Had constant issues with the generator and dealing with customer service. The RV clearly needed service. Supposed service was done in Lodi CA and would not work the next day and serviced again in Bend OR. We were supposed to camp at Scout Lake a dry campsite and were unable to do so due to the heat and no working generator. I paid $170 for a campsite which I could not stay at. We had to go to another campsite with hookups for an additional $200. Got the generator working with a repair service and again it failed the next day and had to go to a hotel in Bend OR for another $520. A few of the family flew home early having enough of the terrible experience with the RV with an extra cost of $700. Toward the end of the trip, we had to buy a new sewer hose for $70. All the while for most of the trip and remaining half of the trip with no working generator. I am appalled at the complete lack of customer service acknowledging how awful our trip was made because you gave us a faulty RV in need of service! I contacted many times even through phone and through their emails. Finally, their customer relation department offer us only $240 for all our extra cost and time dealing with their issue. However, I do not agree with this suggestion and give my feedback to Marco Arreola, their customer relations staff. I have not got any further feedback from him since August till now. If you are planning your trip, please stay away from Cruise America. It just cost your time and your money for nothing worth. For sure from now on, I and my family will never use this company again for an RV and hope others will take note before they decide to use Cruise America.

United States | 10 October 2024Do you really want to know? On Sept 9, 2025, I called to see if there was an RV available. I spoke with Christian Manansala. She was very polite, helpful, nice. I made reservations to pick up Cruise Amer. on Oct 9,(Today} reservations. About 10am the U-Haul in Sparks, Nv called said I needed appt. I told him I had a 1:00pm. He said NO, the 1pm it was already booked, He said I could have 2pm or 3pm. I explained that my husband has Dementia. Was not supposed to left alone that long. So I had to take the 2pm. When we got there to pick up the RV, {about 1:40pm} there were 3 people in the office. They told me my appointment was at 3pm. So I would have to wait to 3pm. So I got mad said I wanted to cancel. He said he couldn't cancel, I would have to call who ever I booked with to cancel. Since is going to my husbands last trip, My daughter and I wanted to make this the best trip as possible. We wanted him to see his grandson for the last time. It hurt us to think that because of this we can't take him.
