Wir hatten im Juli für 20 Tage c25 von Cruise America gemietet. Die Übergabe in Denver hat gerade mal 5 Minuten gedauert, war hektisch und lieblos und darauf haben wir 2 Stunden gewartet. Das Wohnmobil war völlig verdreckt, es hatte bereits 180.000 km drauf und innen war vieles schon leicht kaputt, die Schubladen klemmt mitten und alles war sehr abgewohnt. Außerdem waren die Anzeigen für Blackwater und Grey Water defekt und haben nicht funktioniert. Steckdosen haben auch nicht funktioniert, als wir vor zwei Jahren das gleiche Wohnmobil von Road Bear gemietet hatten, war das zwar etwas teurer aber alle USB ladedosen haben auch beim stehen funktioniert. Dafür gab es damals eine zweite Batterie. . Amerika ist zwar etwas günstiger, aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist nicht gut.

The sales lady was full of hate and shooting negative attitude the whole time, she told me, I know you, you will leave it a mess, I don’t want you should take it, she also added multiple hidden fees.

I was pleased with every aspect of the booking experience. Staff promptly answered all questions, returned my emails quickly, and I was able to cancel my reservation related to a family emergency per their cancellation policy. Thank you! I will absolutely book with cruise america again.

I rented a 25 foot RV; Everything about it was in good working order. The bed was very comfortable – it was nice and clean. I had it for a week, and with the exception of my being a little under the weather my experience renting this RV was wonderful— Provide an excellent recommendation to anyone inquiring on a future rental.

Unfortunately I had to cancel my reservation last minute, due to the wildfires in Oregon that caused the event I was attending to be cancelled. The customer service team was extremely helpful in sorting out the cancellation, and even refunded the deposit, even though it was within the 7-day cancellation window.

We had booked an RV with CA in 2012. Everything was fine. We had a little technical problem back then, but CA repaired the vehicle instantly and we were ready to go again. Since I didn’t read the reviews, now in 8.2024 we booked another one. From my side I can’t understand the negative reviews here. Our RV was built 7/2023, so less than one year old, had 45t mls on the clock and the inside and outside condition was satisfying. Everything worked quite well. For a comprehensive understanding I might add, that for Germans the condition of US vehicles is not comparable to the ones back home. This is at least nice to know. An believe me. This RV’s are quite complex. Lot’s of stuff that can go bad. So you should be able to deal with minor problems. And come on, show me a car where everything is working properly. Our RV did the 4500 mls we put on the clock brave. We also had a little accident which was solved by CA to our convenience. Everybody who has a 100% expectation on life will get constantly disappointed. And for those such journeys don’t suit very well. You better co for an all-inclusive holiday… But for those who know what to expect and is not a first timer and then additionally doing this in America the first time, this is a dream come true. For everybody who experiences a mental breakdown at a slight problem, stay away from that. You will experience a nightmare. You need some resilience, I promise. Everybody who owns a camper back home and did their first experiences already this will be a dream of a journey though. I can’t reproduce the negative reviews. I read them by chance in the middle of our trip. It worried me a bit I have to admit. But everything went to our satisfaction. Big thanks also to the team of CA Duluth, GA, nice and friendly crew, explained everything to my satisfaction! Looking forward to seeing CA next time! If you doubt, it’s not a pr review 😊 Wir hatten 2012 schon mal einen CA-Camper gebucht. War alles fein! Hatten damals während der Fahrt ein kleines technisches Problem, wurde in der CA Werkstatt sofort behoben und weiter ging es. Jetzt, 8.2024, da habe ich die Bewertungen hier noch nicht gelesen, wieder eines gebucht. Ich kann die negativen Berichte nicht nachvollziehen. Unser Camper war ein knappes Jahr alt, 45t mls auf der Uhr. Alles funktionierte und war einwandfrei. Vielleicht muss man auch dazusagen, dass die Erwartungen der vor allem Europäer vielleicht etwas zu hoch sind. Amerikanische Fahrzeuge entsprechen im Schnitt nicht den deutschen Maßstäben. Das sollte man wissen. Ich war schon 10 Mal in den Staaten. Glaubt mir. Und diese Fahrzeuge sind extrem komplex. Viel Technik die kaputtgehen kann. Man darf schon mit der einen oder anderen Kleinigkeit leben. Hand aufs Herz, welches Fahrzeug hat keine Kleinigkeiten. Unser RV hatte die 4500 mls anstandslos gemeistert. Hatten auch einen kleinen Unfall, wurde auch zu unserer Zufriedenheit gelöst. Wer sich 100% im Leben erwartet, wird konstant enttäuscht werden. Und für den sind solche Reisen auch nicht geeignet. Da besser Cluburlaub etc. Für jemanden der weiß was ihn erwartet und das nicht zum ersten Mal und dann gleich in Amerika macht, ist das ein Traum. Ein wenig handwerkliches Geschick und Problemlösungskompetenz sollten dennoch vorhanden sein. Wenn bei jemandem gleich die Welt zusammenbricht, wenn sich ein kleines Problem auftut, lasst es, ihr tut euch nichts Gutes!! Für Leute die einen Camper/Wohnwagen zu Hause besitzen und daher wissen was sie erwartet, top!! Ich kann von meiner Seite die schlechten Rezessionen nicht nachvollziehen! Habe diese während der Halbzeit unseres Trips gelesen, hat mich etwas verunsichert. Aber alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit! Auch ein Lob an CA Duluth, GA, top Team, alles gut erklärt und sehr freundlich!! Von meiner Seite gerne wieder :) Und nein, es ist kein PR Artikel :)

This entire experience has been extremely stressful for me and my family. Cruise America initially promised to ensure our safe return home, but instead, they abandoned us. We were assured multiple times that assistance would be provided, yet each promise fell through. First, they said they would get us a mechanic, which never happened. Then, they claimed they would provide us with a new unit, which also never materialized. Their final promise was to tow us and our trailer, but this solution required leaving half of my family behind because we couldn't all fit in the tow truck. Ultimately, they canceled the contract and left us to find our own way home. This has not only been a significant inconvenience but has also caused undue stress and hardship. Therefore, I am requesting a full refund of the money paid for the rental, as well as reimbursement for the expenses incurred to tow my truck and trailer. This is the least that can be done to rectify the situation.

My wife and myself ended up getting Covid while vacationing in Vegas and Cruise America will not let us reschedule our RV reservations. We didn't want our $300 dollar deposit back just wanted to reschedule for next month or until we where no longer positive with Covid. They really need to work with people who are responsible and looking out for the masses. Unfortunately they don't care.

Franchise owner's location site is very poor. Very limited parking, owner demanded very rudely we move our auto. We said no, we were there to pick up reserved RV, he started yelling, "do you know who you are dealing with? We said it doesn't matter, he than said he was canceling our reserved RV. He demanded we get off his property, that he was calling the police. I requested full unrefundable deposit, due to, he as owner was canceling our reservation, after some words, he had one of his employees refund the deposit. I would say his position as owner got to his head. His employees all left the room. They appeared to be very uncomfortable with the owner's behavior. Other issue was RV was not ready, it was 3pm. Day almost gone, don't know if we were going to be charged for the first day. We did move our auto, to the next street over. Will never rent from this Franchise owner's business. PROBLEMAS COM O VR O ar-condicionado só funciona no painel do para-brisa. Problema com a eliminação de impurezas. Não drena completamente. O chuveiro transbordou e a pia da cozinha e o vaso sanitário ficaram entupidos! Nós drenamos e reabastecemos a água, mas então... Não conseguimos tomar banho ou dar descarga no vaso sanitário, e não pudemos usar a água da cozinha porque acabou no mesmo dia em que a reabastecemos! Estava vazando por baixo. Desde o segundo dia, temos tido esses problemas (mesmo depois de drenar e reabastecer a água potável). Mas como estávamos em áreas com sinal fraco e muito distantes das localidades da Cruise America, não conseguimos resolver os problemas. Tivemos que tomar banho e usar o banheiro em outros lugares! E foi horrível dormir com o cheiro que entrava.

Quelques problème technique rencontré (fuite d'eau sur le toit, problème sur les niveau d'eau propre et sale). Il aura fallut batailler pour avoir un dédommagement a la hauteur du sinistre. Ensuite une sur facturation de l'assistance téléphonique qui ne vous assiste même pas. Egalement batailler pour se la faire rembourser. Sinon équipe a la succursale très sympa et le véhicule était mécaniquement robuste et fiable. Donc je dirai pas mal mais peu mieux faire

Our hire vehicle had a broken water pump, therefore no use of the shower, basins and flushing toilet. We spoke to the staff on the assistance line but they offered no help apart from telling us how we might fix the fault ourselves. We have requested compensation and refunds of our receipts for spare fuses bought while attempting to correct the problem. But so far have received nothing! The vehicle was missold as having facilities that actually work! It’s not much fun travelling without a shower or toilet for days at a time! I would not use this company again, or recommend them! PS In response to the reply below: We provided receipts to the depot in Calgary when we returned the vehicle, and the operator took them and advised us that they would be entered onto the system. We have repeatedly informed the customer relations team that this is what happened and have still not been reimbursed!!! This remains an outstanding settlement, and if the team took the time to read through our correspondence then they would know this!
