Travel Nation has worked hard to get me refunds for a significant trip that was planned and had to be cancelled due to covid. At a time when they must have been extremely busy and under a great deal of pressure, the staff have been helpful and patient, managing to secure a refund for a good proportion of the costs. Thank you.

Travel Nation organised a bespoke holiday in the USA visiting friends and a trip to New York, for our 40th wedding anniversary which was due to take place in March 2020. At all times they were helpful, efficient and most of all friendly, in particular Claire who managed the majority of the arrangements. Unfortunately a bug named COVID 19 got in the way and the trip did not happen and we went know where! As a result the trip was moved 3 times, but as the COVID got worse in the USA and on advise from our friends in the USA we decided to cancel, reluctantly. Travel Nation have arranged a refund as best that is possible given the circumstances. Should we decide to visit the USA or any other long haul trip in the future we will defiantly use Travel Nation.

Following a successful RTW trip booked through Travel Nation in 2008, we decided to book our 2nd with them again for 2019/20, so glad we did. We set off 1st Sept 2019 but had to cut the trip short at the end of March due to COVID (During the trip Travel Nation were very supportive with flight date changes). Travel Nation provided us with a route back home which would use the balance of our RTW tickets which was great and very helpful, however we decided to book our own flight home and submit a refund for the unused RTW flights (Un-flown Sectors). Travel Nation submitted the refund request to LATAM Airlines on 4th April, unfortunately however LATAM went into administration and stopped issuing refunds. From then on Travel Nation worked hard to get the refund for us and fast forward to Nov and we have finally received the refund in our account, so happy. With so many airlines and travel companies going bust we thought we'd never see that hard-earned cash again! Travel Nation have stood strong throughout the year and were always contactable throughout to answer our questions and chase down that refund, special thanks to Charlie and the team. We've now got that money to hand to book a future trip once the world goes back to normal and can't wait for that to happen. If you want good support through your trip and a well-established company in your corner then you need to book with Travel Nation, I think our situation demonstrates the integrity of the company, so why book else where right??

I have used the service of Travel Nation for a number of flights & recommended the company to friends & colleagues. I have always had a first class service from them with keeping me informed, answering any queries & always being approachable. This trip that I am presently on seeing family in Australia has definitely made me want to sing the praises of the company over the roof tops! I arrived in Australia just before the outbreak of COVID-19. My flight home has been cancelled 4 times. Throughout I have had excellent service from David Taylor of Travel Nation who has gone out of his way to rebook flights & keeping me abreast of what is happening. It has taken the stress out of the situation & I am able to enjoy a prolonged & unexpected long stay with my family.

I have given a 5* because of the fantastic service I have received from Travel nation. Booking my initial flight to Fiji back in January was a straight forward process. I was given many Flight options To suit my needs. With Fiji not accepting international flights due to Covid-19, I requested a refund, which was given to me 2 weeks after the return date of my flight. Communication has been outstanding throughout. I will be rebooking my trip with Travel Nation again to go next summer instead.

Booked our flights with travel nation for a 6 month trip around India, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia. Travel nation were great at finding flights within our budget and had good communication, the booking process was all straightforward. Unfortunately we had to end our trip early because of Covid, and travel nation managed to get some of the money refunded from the airline which was super helpful and much appreciated! Would definitely recommend this travel company :)

We used Travel Nation to plan a big overseas adventure to Australia 2 years ago and had the trip of a lifetime so we didn’t hesitate to contact them again when we wanted to plan a sightseeing and campervan road trip in Canada this summer. These guys have been there and got the T-shirt themselves so they are brilliant at judging the itinerary to take in all the key sights, booking in tours and choosing well-located accommodation all within the budget we had agreed. Sadly what with global pandemic (!) our much anticipated holiday didn’t happen in the end and we had a stressful few weeks not knowing the best way to proceed. Chris (who originally planned both trips) and latterly Charlie have both been nothing short of incredible supporting and advising us during what is a difficult situation for both parties to negotiate. I cannot fault their customer service, it really is second to none and so much more personal and responsive than we have had using other travel agencies in the past. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them - I just dearly hope they weather the impending financial crisis as god knows we all need a holiday once this year is done!

The customer service has been outstanding. Claire has gone out of her way to accomodate everything that we have asked for. She has chopped and changed things for us all with good humour and fabulous suggestions. She has put together a dream holiday for me and my husband and we could not be happier. Claire has explained everything clearly every step of the way. She really has been amazing and I would not hesitate in recommending her

We book a multi-destination trip with Adam at Travel Nation and received excellent service. We were travelling during the early weeks of Covid and had to change our flights as we were travelling due to this. Adam rearrange our flight and ensured we were kept up to date with any developments. During the planning stages of our trip he was full of ideas and support and also patience as we tweaked our trip. We will definitely be using Trave Nation again for our future travels!

Absolutely exceptional from start to finish!! My son and daughter in law booked the trip of a lifetime with many destinations and had faultless advice and assistance. Covid prevented them travelling on 6th April and they were very worried having spent a great deal of money on the trip so they asked Mum to help! Mark could not have been more helpful and reassuring and I had total faith that the whole cost of the trip would be refunded, even if that took time. To our amazement, the vast majority of the cost of the trip was refunded last Friday with just a small balance to follow. I cannot thank everybody at Travel Nation enough. What a joy to meet such caring, genuine people and I recommend them wholeheartedly. Thank you.

Booking around the world tickets with Travel Nation was very easy and they found us a great deal but it was the aftercare that really made us love this company. Having to evacuate Bolivia within 24 hours during the coronavirus pandemic was a nerve wracking experience and if it wasn’t for David and Charlie from Travel Nation we are pretty certain that we would still be there now. They worked day and night to help us to get home despite closed borders and red tape consistently blocking our path along the way. We can’t rate Travel nation highly enough and we will forever be grateful to them.

From the excellent suggestions during booking, invaluable advice and the exceptional service on our early return due to covid I cant recommend this company Enough. Wouldn’t hesitate in using them again.

Travel to Vietnam and New Zealand recently amidst the emerging outbreak of the pandemic. Travel Nation were excellent in making arrangements for our return home before the shutdown of many routes. In addition were quick to react to curtailment in the remainder of our itinerary. The 24 hour emergency line was of great assistance. Special mention to Grainne Sheffer for her perseverance and attention to our needs and for organising an excellent choice of hotels and destinations along the way, 40 days out of 55 was on balance a very good result.

Could not have had better experience. Original booking was at very good price. When circumstances changed and I wanted to changed some flights, this was no trouble. Finally, when flights were cancelled due to Coronavirus, Charlie Maybank went beyond what would be expected to not only find me flights home but also keep me updated on FCO communications. Would not hesitate in using again and again.

We have been using Teavel Nation for over 4 years, all with the best professional service and support. We are not yet in emergency but rather in a prevention mode to cancel June & August Travel in order to limit the risks for us and for others. As usual the 2 trips planned are long physical sport race events, as we are competing in International races for 8 to 13 hours non stop, hence crazy to think that we can sustain and be safe. A year ago Travel Nation in Brighton helped us plan a trip to Australia, NZ and Singapore. Graham gave us lots of advice and recommendations which turned out to be spot-on when we finally hit the ground in February. The add-on tours and transfers were seamless and we had a wonderful time. TN were put to the test with Covid-19 causing an escalating close down of travel while we were camping in NZ. We rang their emergency number (thank you Liz, and others) because we couldn't keep up with events locally. Liz was on the ball and we agreed evacuation was wise. The team kept in touch by phone at all hours of the night and had us flying out 72H later just ahead of lockdown. We really appreciate the back up of TN and the people standing by us when things went wrong, while independent travelers around us were in deep trouble trying to get home. THANK YOU
