I traveled to India and did the Golden Triangle Tour and ended it in a friend's traditional Indian wedding at Bangalore. The guys in Travel Nation helped me with every detail since the begging, even with the part of the wedding that wasn't on their tour but on my personal agenda. CHEERS! Had the best time ever. I had asked a couple of travel companies to produce a proposal for my flights and accommodation in New Zealand. The Rep at Travel Nation was very competent and knowledgeable and won out through providing fast turn-around, competitive cost breakdowns and helpful suggestions. The other company was constantly pushing me to book with every iteration of my itinerary, but Travel Nation did not pressure me at all. My holiday is still some months off, but so far the booking process has been great with only minor corrections necessary.

Annette did a cracking job building the trip I wanted, using her expertise she crafted my ideas into a fabulous package with some good alternatives plus some trip ideas (Booking Alcatraz in advance is a must she said). She then fine tuned it with some upgrades for our flights to Dominican Republic. Can’t recommend her highly enough. Cheers Martin

He modified my trip as required, made helpful suggestions, offered to assist with visas and researched different options. He gets top marks for communication, efficiency and reliability. I usually make all my own travel arrangements but was reassured that I would never have been able to get these flights and prices without the help of Travel Nation. Will definitely use this company again

Very pleasant experience of booking round the world trip. My booking personnel at Travel Nation Jim Faulkner was very helpful. There was no pressure at all. It took me nearly 2 months to finalise the itinerary and Jim kept on managing the changes. I did not shop around for this trip so cannot comment on the competitiveness.

Graham Baker at Travel Nation was the best. He organised flights, transfers, hotels in no time at all and just seemed to know what we would like. Glasgow to Heathrow and overnight in the very lovely Renaissance Hotel. Heathrow to San Francisco with three nights stay at the Argonaut hotel. Very spacious room with an amazing bed and a fabulous view of the Golden Gate bridge. The location was excellent, right at Fisherman's Wharf. We flew with Virgin Atlantic, so comfortable, staff amazing and food delicious plus anything you wanted to drink. We then headed to New Zealand to stay with our daughter. Air New Zealand flew us there and we couldn't fault them at all. The spacious comfortable seats. Such attentive lovely staff. Gorgeous food and drink. Definately our favourite airline. Six weeks later Graham had arranged for us to return via Singapore with two nights and three days in this beautiful city. We stayed in the outstanding Fullerton Hotel. Five-star all the way and we were booked into a palatial loft suite. It made our stay even more special and Graham seemed to know it was the kind of hotel we would appreciate. He was spot on. Graham was so easy to speak to and put up with all our ridiculous questions. Nothing was a problem. Whenever we are planning our next big trip, Graham Baker at Travel Nation is the person we'll be contacting. Thanks so much Graham

Graham has organised 3 trips for us and the proposals he has made and and the efforts taken in order to meet our requirements has been superb The 6 week trip to Australia and New Zealand was fantastic and went smoothly The one to Iceland/Canada/USA we had to cancel at 2 days notice was well planned. The next one to Ecuador/Peru/Galapagos has been booked and we look forward to going. Nothing is too much trouble, He was able to advise and recommend insurers as we had problems with other well known pre existing medical cover travel insurers as we are going above 2500m and travelling to the Galapagos Islands. We contacted David Taylor on the recommendation of a friend and we were very pleased that we did. David's obvious experience and knowledge combined with a very pleasant, unhurried and reassuring manner quickly gained our confidence and allayed many of the concerns of the inexperienced, first-time transcontinental travelers that we are (or will be!). In next to no time he secured us an attractive and practical flight schedule and visas, for a date-specific return trip to Australia (with internal transfers) and we look forward to liaising further with him to help round-off accommodation and some sight-seeing. So far, a very good experience all round, thank you!

My Christmas 2019 trip was my second round the world trip that I booked with travel nation and it was just as good as the first trip. They are a credit to what they do and cover all areas in such an organised way as if they were on the trip themselves. The agent I have dealt with Adam Smith over the last two years is spot on with what he does and is a credit to he's company. Roll on the planning for my 2020 trip.

Book it yourself!!!! We used Travel nation for a once in a lifetime trip to Florida. Our requirements were simple, Two families of 4, for 3 weeks. 1 week in Clear water, and 2 weeks in Orlando, with tickets for Universal and Disney with car hire. They provided competitive pricing compared with Virgin and BA, and felt like they knew what they were talking about. We were wrong. We felt that they provided cheap pricing to win the business, then hit you with the real charges. Flights quoted were anticipated at between £600-£700 per person, when they came to ticket them, the price had increased to £1,300. We ended up booking directly with the airline in the end at £1,050, but we are now already £400 per person over original budget. Week one - Arrived at the airport to collect our "full size" cars that were supposed to each accommodate four people and four suitcases, we couldn't get our cases in so had to upgrade one of the family cars to a larger vehicle, another additional cost incurred because Travel Nation quoted the cheaper option. Week two - "Executive" villa was to accommodate 8 people. It had enough beds, but not enough seating for the families to eat together. They should also remove the "executive" from the title, it was quite old with lots of broken items, and had not been cleaned. Week three - The best week, but this was a result of Disney doing such a great job. From a Travel Nation perspective, we had challenges with obtaining fast pass information from the agent prior to arrival, and ended up having to work directly with Disney, again, no value from TN, and additional costs phoning international. If you choose Travel Nation, add another 20% to cover the inevitable add ons that come with booking through an agent that quotes cheap in order to win the business.

I googled the flight myself as the option they gave me has an awkward flightime and they told me there is no other option when there was other better option. They did offered me the cheapest option and helped me find a flight that is the most suitable for me. A bit slow in replying sometimes, but tolerable.
