Extremely fast liaison with concierge and apartment management teams on my behalf (and this was prior to me even assigning them as agents). Flexible on terms and happy to have the discussion within reason. Full end to end management of flat furnishing. I was also given the wrong email address for property maintenance, which was quite frustrating. Thankfully, the experience was made better after I obtained the correct email. Although I would have preferred the issues to have been resolved right before the tenancy started, Emily in the Central Property Management Team was very proactive and efficient in trying to resolve my issues. I am very happy with her service. It was highly appreciated.

United Kingdom | 12 November 2017I do not recommend to deal with MyLondonHome if you want to rent the apartment with their help. It is a nightmare working with them! They work only in the interest of the landlord and do not care at all about the tenant! This is my conclusion based on my experience which is described below. I have been experiencing problems with MyLondonHome since the moment I signed the tenancy agreement. Until that everything was very good - they have responded quickly to my requests, were very polite, etc. As soon as the tenancy agreement was signed, everything has changed dramatically! The apartment I decided to rent is managed by MyLondonHome. The first shock was on the check-in day - the first day of the tenancy - when I saw the apartment was not cleaned. the furniture wad dusty, the toilets were not clean - it was not ready to move in! The agreement I signed has a clause saying that the apartment should be professionally cleaned before start of the tenancy. I had the service personal booked to support me on that day to move my staff to the new apartment, and they were booked until 6 pm. So asked MyLondonHome to clean the apartment on that day before 6 pm. They had around 6 hours for that. So I was very patient and gave a chance to solve the problem. The agency told me that they found the cleaning team which can clean the apartment only in the evening of that day, so they could not do it before 6 pm, I could not move my staff after 6 pm. The good thing for me was that I still have my previous apartment and could stay there. I asked MyLondonHome to let me know when the apartment is cleaned. I send them the notification in writing on that day that my check in failed and as it happened due to the uncleaned apartment I would be able to move to the apartment only next Saturday, and all lost days should be compensated. I did not get any notifications until Tuesday next week. I was very surprised to get the response on Tuesday when I was on business trip outside London saying that my apartment was cleaned on the check-in day at 4 pm which was not true! I called the concierge of the building where the apartment is located and they told me that the cleaning team indeed came on that day, but they finished at 7 pm. And MyLondonHome found time to inform me about that only 4 days after! The second problem was about curtains. I asked to install blackout curtains to the both bedrooms when we discussed the contract. The tenancy agreement has a clause which says that the blackout curtains should be installed before the start of the agreement. I was very patient for the first two weeks, but one month has already gone and no curtains! I was not kept informed about the progress until I raised myself this question. I pay full rent which includes the curtains, and if they are not there I want to reduce my rent until the curtains are installed. I asked for compensation for the whole week as I was physically not able to move earlier and for the curtains not being installed in time. The agency refused to compensate me anything, even that first day which has been already paid and lost, and it was their fault! I followed the complaint procedure and sent the complaint to the director of the letting department. I spent my time and efforts on it. The answer was as surprising as always! I received the response not from The director, but from the Customer Retention Specialist. In their reply I was offered the compensation for 1 day as according to the agency 'it was my choice not to move to the apartment' which was not cleaned (!) and no compensation for the curtains as 'we did not agree on the date when they should be installed'! So MyLondonHome which has also signed the tenancy agreement along with the Landlord believes that they can interpret the contract as they want! I am going to escalate these problems to the property ombudsmen. If you do not want to have such problems with your renting property, stay away from MyLondonHome.
