The job was completed on time and the fitters did a fantastic.

From the day our Kardean specialist fitter started fitting our flooring he raised concerns at how it was scratching. Unfortunately the flooring company advised him to continue. Our floor scratched on day one and continues to scratch daily. Neither Kardean or our flooring fitters will come out and view the Kardean art select product that we chose despite repeated requests from us asking for them to come and discuss the quality of the flooring. We have since found out that some boards were even showing as scratched before they even left their boxes and had pen marks highlighting these scratches which Kardean say they can’t comment on. We are at a loss of what we do next.

Poor product. Had flooring fitted by local karndean supplier. 9mm floor grade ply with floor screws 10cm apart. Could not get a better prepared surface. Floor has dents from a light table. Customer service reply was pleasant but copied generic information re preparing floor from website. Our floor goes beyond the recommended 6mm! Tech specialists were ‘too busy’ to look at our pictures. We now await the rep for East Lothian to get in touch to see what is going to be done. I wish I had gone for click flooring and saved thousands and so much hassle. Do not recommend unfortunately

Very disappointed with refresh kit , after following instructions and leaving the applied refresh seal to the floor all night , the next couple of days new marks became more noticeable, basically seems to me like a pva rather than a hard seal !

We bought the Glacier oak art select. Cost us over £3500. Within 6 months it was scratched to bits and dirt is combining in the joins. It looks an absolute disgrace and I can't wait to rip it all up. It's only been down 12 months. I contacted Karndean, a man came out and told me it was guaranteed for 35 years. I advised the only way to clean it and remove dirt from the joins was to get down on my knees to do it. We have it all over ground floor. I'd be dead if I had to do this. I've been waiting 5 months for a response since receiving their very contradictory report. I would never advise anyone to get Karndean. Previous to this we had laminate floor which cost £200 and barely had a scratch on it. The product is not fit for purpose.

Karndean flooring is the worst flooring that we have ever bought. It scratches, leaves smears and is not as tough as they say! We've used the special cleaner and that brings them up for a couple of days and then back to being awful. When you complain to company they don't want to know. Wouldn't recommend this flooring. And it's not cheap! Details emailed across with problems as requested, but still no response

We had Karndean LVF put down everywhere in our house except for the stairs, I was very nervous having read the reviews and did lots of random scratch tests on different make samples, Karndean came out on top! I can honestly say we have had no problems with it, and we have moved furniture, It’s easy to clean. We do not have pets in the house so I can’t comment on pet scratches. We take usual precautions, ie. we do use foam pads on furniture and we don’t wear sharp shoes in the house.

I laid this for a customer. It buckled up at the edges of alot of planks. The company sent 2 men out to look at it. They advised me to redo the section by the bifold and leave a gap, which was bigger than what was recommended in the fitting instructions. After a few weeks the customer has been back on to me to tell me that a section has popped up again. I was recommended this palio rigid product by Bristol Tile Centre. I am now so fed up, as my customer is, understandably, fed up too. I can't afford to go back again at my own expense, plus I can't do anything different as to what was recommended by the technical people that came out. I want some help, I don't need this stress. I shouldn't be out of pocket for a substandard product. No one thinks about self employed, sole traders. Karndean you need to sort this out, looking st the reviews it's not just myself who's had/having problems.

Have had our Karndean floor laid less than 2 years. Within 6 months it was scratched (which you do expect) but this scratched so easily. The main issue is awful discolouration wherever any furniture or mats are. Even the dogs bed. This means we cannot more furniture around. It looks awful. Have tried all the refresh products recommended by Karndean as well as usual maintenance. Have contacted Karndean with pictures and was told someone would contact. Nothing. So disappointing for a product that I thought of as premium. If anyone ever mentioned they were getting Karndean flooring I would seriously put them off the idea.

Karndean Knight Tile Frosted Marble Vinyl Flooring Rigid Core - Looked great when installed but joints open up and move plus scratches with light traffic . I was told to avoid click systems and it appears that I should of listened to what I was told. Certainly not a quality product.

I got karndean fitted 18 months ago de Vinci it was called. I was told by the fitters there was too much moisture in my floor so they recommended jumpax underlay. First time they used 2 different batch codes so colour was different. 2nd time the fun starts with karndean. I noticed the colour changing over a few months. Contacted the shop who I bought it from they were really good tried to help. Then hovering one night I noticed the corners peeling up in some different places were sun comes through my back. The shop sorts karndean to investigate. Fair enough the man new his stuff. I was told by the floor fitters that can u get a credit card in the gaps in your floor answer was yes. Man turns up from karndean last week. I asked seen any pictures he said no. I said I have lumps here and they’re only in this back part cos the Hoover off the light highlights it. He was only concerned with the gaps. He asked what I used to clean the floor, I answered some times steam some times mop. I said to my mrs this has got them out of jail. Got the report back today off karndean conclusion is steam damage. I rang karndean spoke to a lady, who wasn’t interested in the lumps she said it’s all over u just haven’t seen them. Let me tell use all now it’s only we’re the uv light comes through my back windows it doesn’t peel up in my living room or hall only in sun light.I used a tile from the batch upstairs that was over and guess what colour change is a joke. Steamer must of caused this because once again it’s no we’re else in my house., I hope people read this and I can send all the photos of what karndean sent and what I have sent is shocking service do not use please.

Karndean knight tiles. How poor can a product be? It's junk, it's utter rubbish. It looks exactly what it is, cheap vinyl. What a really expensive mistake.

Been down 2 months scratches easily and not worth the money sadly . Looks lovely but it’s just scratches easy so not suitable. Brought the cleaner and sadly that also just makes it look smeary & cost £50 . Didn’t receive warranty certificate either . I will be replacing in a year when can afford as just the flooring cost £2500

My kitchen floor was laid with Palio Clic about 5 years ago. Very soon, some of the corners started lifting and coming apart. Despite applying tape, these continue to lift and collect dirt as well as creating a tripping hazard. In addition, many of the joins have separated, leaving an unsightly gap between them. And finally, the colours have changed dramatically and differently, even for panels next to each other.

Product is first class. Local approved contractors carried out the installation. So all in all money well spent...
