The product is sound, providing you have it installed correctly. We had to chase our installer to correct various issues. Eventually we find ourselves satisfied with the flooring, if not quite with the experience as a whole.

I got Kardean loose lay flooring as we live in a 1930s house and in view of the lifespan of the product thought it would a good option so if access was required to pipes etc in the future we could take it up do the works and return the floor without need to replace it. The floor was fitted in line with the then manufacturer instructions (now changed) and immediately started moving with gaps appearing throughout. The flooring company came twice to essentially refit the floor with more adhesive and then a stronger adhesive as the instructions had then changed meaning repeated moving of furniture and appliances. Even with the stronger adhesive the floor is still slowly moving apart. I have been notified that Kardean accept a gap of up to the point you can fit a debit card in it. Some areas do have a gap this wide but even where it doesn't quite meet this tolerance level the gaps collect dirt and look terrible. Kardean are very reluctant to come out and discuss the issues we have had leaving it mostly up to the floor fitter to sort out but the issue is with the product as it appears to have been fitted exactly as instructed.

The samples were good, they were fast to be delivered and I've had a Karndean floor previously and absolutely loved it. 2 dogs, grandchildren, and plenty of activity on it and it not only looks good, it's incredibly durable.

We purchased Van Gough glue down . It is so slippery. I have now slipped over twice. I can only walk on it wearing slippers or barefoot, its like walking on ice if i only have socks on.Its advertised as safe for dogs , I have had to buy nonslip socks for my dog to wear as he slipped so many times . We are going to cover most of it with rugs. Please don’t waste your money on this.

Excellent product, went down well and looks great.

Absolute rubbish. Looked great when I first laid it. Now just under a year later it’s full of scratches. However the most irritating thing is the movement in it. Nearly every joint has opened up and now has visible gaps. The correct glue was used and the sub floor was brand new really good quality ply. I’m a carpenter by trade and have laid many Amtico floors in the past so this was no different in practice. I was very careful to make sure all the joints were good. So disappointed in this product, I would never use it again or recommend to anyone. Will be using Amtico in the future. I contacted Karndean and was fobbed off with the excuse that I didn’t use the correct flooring grade ply. Think this is just an excuse for their poor quality product. In my old kitchen I laid Amtico over the top of old vinyl and in the bathroom onto cement screed. Neither had any moment to speak of, that was 10 years ago. The local fitter in my area will not use glue down Karndean as he’s had so many issues with it. Shocking product and equally shocking customer service. There is clearly an issue with this product.

Lovely product, we ordered Knight tile traditional oak and laid it herringbone style in our dining room hallway and lounge. Was very well fitted and looks fantastic!

Oldrids, Boston did a great job from design to fitting. We are very pleased, the floor looks fantastic.

I wish I’d read these reviews previously. £7k for installation last week. It’s been down for less than 4 days and it’s scratched and the joints are all raised and are effectively trip hazards. This is an appalling product.

After 10 years from original install had some issues with sections of faded flooring in a conservatory . Dealt with Chloe at Karndean who arranged full replacement of entire floor at no cost . Helped with alternative style as the original was no longer available .. Brilliant communications at all times , job arranged and completed on time . Tip to customers ....Look after your warranty document :)

The floor looks great and the fitter took great care laying the tiles. Would have given 5 stars only I had to chase for the warranty, which I still haven't received UPDATE: Chloe from Karndean has picked up my earlier comments and my warranty has been received. Definitely worth 5 stars now
