I purchased Lime Washed Oak’ KP99 flooring from hearing that Karndean was the best flooring for being hard wearing in a busy family home. We installed it in our new kitchen extension which is a very large area. Very quickly we soon saw scuffs and scratches. We tried our best to maintain it using the karndean floor cleaner. After 15 months we decided to purchase their remove and refresh products. This was an absolutely horrendous job to do and took me two days and 5 mop heads! We had to store our furniture in the garage. It was a huge task and certainly not something I can do every 6 months being a busy working mum. It had made a small improvement to the scratches but within a month it was worse than ever! I contacted Karndean but as I had not done the remove and refresh process within 12 months my warranty was void and they had no interest in coming out to look at the floor or resolve the issue. I would strongly advise not to purchase this product as I have been very upset and disappointed with a floor that will cost me £££ to replace.

Recently purchased Karndean Van Gogh rigid core flooring. Can’t fault the flooring so far or the service we received at the showroom, however beware if you purchase too much and go back for a refund on a pack they charge you an astronomical “restocking charge”, which we weren’t warned/advised about when we initially purchased. For us it amounted to over half the cost of the box of tiles, a staggering £70+…now I’m not sure it costs this much to pop a box of tiles back in to stock, had we have been advised of this we would’ve under ordered and gone back for more!! Be warned!!

Hi I purchased Victorian Oak Flooring from an Alloa Store which when I saw the sample in the shop loved the colour However when it was laid it was horrendous covered in brown spots and scuff marks etc all over the floor it looks like a well trodden pub floor. I have contacted Karndean myself after they got back to the shop where I purchased it to say I should have sent away for a sample but as I seen the sample in the shop I was quite happy with it not marks etc on that one as I would never have purchased it. However 3 emails on still no reply from Scott at Karndean I did find out this flooring has been discontinued but they are still selling it Very dissatisfied customer

My tile-effect Karndean flooring was laid in my new build 19 months ago in my kitchen, bathroom and small toilet. I have mopped it regularly using the cleaning liquids in the free pack. Yesterday, while I was mopping the small toilet floor a strip of plastic peeled off. This is a grout effect strip so I hope the rest doesn’t do the same thing. I’m not sure what to do next, do I contact the builder or inform Karndean directly as a complaint?

I liked the samples sent. HOWEVER The shipping was dreadful. I live in New Zealand. I live 1 hour north of the city (Auckland) they were dispatched from in the North Island. The samples ended up in another City in the South Island. They were not really able to be tracked or followed up on as Karndean Customer Service is based in Australia, the young lady there had no idea where or what I was talking about. I suggest Karndean upgrade its customer service to be based for New Zealand in New Zealand. The model you are using is completely inefficient for your New Zealand based customers. I am not the only one experiencing this issue.

I'm just not sure! I put down in kitchen and it has scraped very easily. I've been InTouch with karndean and they sent me a cleaning pack. I'm in process of using it now. I really don't know if I'd recommend and to be honest if I'd to do over again I would put down tiles. Intact if it keeps scraping I can see me lifting and dumping and doing tiles which is gonna cost a fortune. Karndean never sent anyone to look and I wish they had. I'll let you know if the cleaning pack works but I'm not confident. I tell anyone doing repairs just tile.

Sample that was requested was delivered quickly. Have used the Karndean knighttile 23 years ago when we renovated our home. Still good except for fading due to uv.
