I have normally dealt with Mark McLaughlin and he is most definitely "on the Ball". He is always friendly and helpful and gets queries sorted. Its early days yet , but so far, I feel I have chose wisely.

Theoretically, this could have been good. Unfortunately we were paired with an utterly useless solicitor (Hodders Law) who I've just had to abandon quite far down the process of purchasing, I now have to start again so the sale will be delayed by a number of weeks. Homeward Legal themselves customer services were always friendly and attempted to be helpful though unfortunately the solicitors have been unresponsive to everyone involved meaning Homeward Legal's ability to help was limited. Holding deposit has been refunded quickly, cannot fault their easy escape route! They do charge way over the odds for the searches which is non-refundable but at least I get to keep these and transfer them over to my new solicitor. Check the reviews of who you get assigned to immediately, if you have red flags, ask to be changed. I wish I'd followed my instincts and abandoned ship earlier.

Homeward Legal were able to provide me with a very competitive quote for a simple transaction. I was beginning to despair that I would find what I considered a reasonable charge. The quote was at least £200 less than what I had been quoted elsewhere and in one case £300 less! I will certainly contact Homeward Legal again in the future for any other legal transactions. The 2 staff members I spoke to were very helpful.
