I have been trying to purchase a property with no Chain, both parties are desperate for an exchange, calls and emails rarely replied to, answers that are given are hardly acceptable. Has been over 4 months, but it's not surprising as 1 reply to an email took 3 weeks to review. Seems like they are hardly motivated to complete. Find someone else to do your conveyancing!

Using Homeward Legal for the second time in 2 years, to manage conveyancing matters for me. Quite simply, you don't go back to the same supplier twice if they fail to deliver, and they didn't! I found them to be very competitive also.

Homeward Legal are very efficient in contacting and quoting for business and the telephone service from the staff was excellent. You should be aware however that they are just a booking agency who are paid up front for their fee. Once you've been passed on to solicitors, they aren't really involved and you still have to pay the solicitors additional funds albeit not too much, before they too start work. The speed and efficiency of the solicitors are not really influenced by Homeward. Time will tell how good the firm recommended by Homeward are any good, although the price quoted is very fair.
