I have had good experience with Homeward. Biggest positives for me are: 1) They register my phone number so I dont need to verify myself when they call me. Usually goes straight to the person assigned to my case. 2) My first purchase fell though and they have without fuss changed the transaction to another property by re-using the money as I have paid the insurance 3) Open 7 days a week to talk to which has been very helpful

Speaking with Mark was very easy he was informed very helpful and we had a good dialogue in a relaxed but professional way, I had looked at several companies before deciding to choose Homeward, one thing that did stand out was the availability at weekends which would be extremely useful for those in full time monday to Friday employment and even shift workers, I look forward to a successful conclusion to my sale.

We had a good experience with this company up until the moment we paid to instruct them and then it went downhill from there. Homeward Legal pairs you with a law firm to carry out your legal work - you do not have any say in which firm this is. We had awful issues with the law firm we were allocated so we had to cancel with them (nothing had been progressed on our case 2 months into the matter). Homeward Legal assured me on various occasions that they would get the law firm to contact me but this never happened. Homeward Legal also assured me that they would get someone from their customer service team to contact me but again this never happened. I definitely would not recommend.

Onboarding process has been really easy and quick with Mark. Took the time to help me through everything, even on the weekend. Slightly dubious that they don't tell you which solicitor that you'll get until after you have instructed. Hopefully the rest of the process will go as smoothly as it has been!

Quick response, flexible opening times, easy to use online qoute.

Had a phone call and Sorted the info out over the phone. Paid £25 for ID checks and was asked to leave a review on the phone about being open on the weekends. 1) I was told 24-48 hours everything should come through, including how to do ID checks. This did not happen, and I am still waiting 2) I was told if I need anything to email the person I spoke to. There were some mistakes on info he sent and he rectified them, but nothing came back about how the original price quote increased £50 from the previous email 3) this is a time sensitive task to me (transfer of equity) and fairly straight forward, yet due to timescales not being met, I will unfortunately now not be going with this company If you want something done quickly, pay a bit more and go locally. This whole experience (as small as it has been) has been a joke, and I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone

Appreciate dealing with a person on the phone rather than just by email, and it helps that they ave available out of school hours!

chap i spoke with on the phone was good. He wasn't just reading from a script - gave me enough detail without just being a robot. A very good hire you have there.

Mark that I was fortunate to be put through to was polite, friendly and helpful. He provided a quote that was favourable and answered all of my questions. Whilst these things are not just about the finances, it is important when purchasing property. However, what I also appreciated was that Homeward are open late in the evenings and at weekends - financial discussions are not something to be had in an open plan office, so working outside of 9-5 was really helpful for me. Started off positive but what they don’t tell you is that they take a deposit from you and never push the solicitor, and you will be waiting 6 weeks before you are even on the first rung of the property being looked at. This is called onboarding. DO NOT USE Luckly I have a sympathetic seller who has stick with me or I could have lost house in process. I am cash buyer, no searches or surveys. Viewed Jan 6, with Homeward Legal 10th, still not allocated solicitor by 24th March, still with allocations team, tried second solicitor through them on 27th March,on 27th April new solicitor said they could not do purchase by email. Have finally found my own independent solicitor after this but NO CONTACT from Homeward Legal after failure second time even though they said they would contact within 24 hours with a replacement. Today got a phone from Conveyancing Team askingif all going well with purchase!! Got a cut and paste response asking me to contact homeward legal, sent them email recently asking for a deposit back no response
