Please avoid this company. I instructed them to handle a sale for me back in January but 3 days after I was gazumped and so had to pull out. These guys claimed that they had already ordered all the searches - has anyone ever known solicitors to work that quick ? I asked for my money back under the 14 day period but was told that this was not possible but could use it towards another purchase. Roll forward to now, I am purchasing another property so want to them to honour their guarantee as I had paid out £600 already (no searches cost that much either !) , but completely unable to speak to anyone. It appears they have gone out of business as the phone keeps cutting me off. Complete scammers ! Avoid like the plague.

I’m a retired legal eagle myself so had much experience of attending to the public. On my very first phone call I was greatly impressed by the happy and calm way my enquiry was handled. Good legal advice given on the conveyancing round I was about to enter, selling my property and purchasing another. I was blown away with their so reasonable fees quoted. I’m very old although not confused but both Craig and Tom gave me the time and courtesy in replying with figures. My overall fees were worked out quickly without fuss.....and I was very happy to immediately accept the quotes given. I’m v. happy to have their team working on my behalf.

Absolutely atrocious to think a company can work like this. Took the initial instruction funds 4 and half weeks ago and forgotten....no contact from solicitors (Alexander Grace Law) since initial docs, after chasing at least 3 times a week. Emails after emails, calls after calls - talk about making moving even more stressful than it already is & yet no ones seems to bat an eyelid... like it's normal for a straight forward purchase to have not moved in this period of time, quite frankly amazes me. Would love if someone with authority who works at the firm actions our case with a sense of urgency & actually chases the solicitor, because I'm sure that's why we paid through you & your 'panel relationships' was supposed to benefit us, yet it's backfired on me, and ultimately you as well. How can you justify choosing a firm that provides such a disgraceful service to YOUR paying clients A bad review seems to do the trick these days unfortunately, so here I am. All we want is for them to do their job – we are not asking for miracles here. Joshua Thomas has my details - please feel free to contact me once you have an update, and/or feel free to refund me because no work has been undertaken as of yet, and we can select a solicitor to actually do some work.

Appalling service, initial solicitors were rude and unprofessional. I moved to another firm via fridaysmove who have been unable to complete a basic transaction that should take a few months, the matter has been on going for 2 years now with the firm holding my deposit money for 1 year. Fridaysmove were no help in resolving this issue and they clearly partner with TERRIBLE firms. I am now contacting the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

Terrible service. Paid my deposit a week ago and zero contact despite sending emails. Would like to get my money back - but ultimately will report you cowboys to the SRA. Will definitely do my best to make sure as many people as possible get to know how bad your service is. Pathetic.

Very efficient service

Very helpful every step of the way so far. The first house I wanted to buy fell through which normally would have meant me losing my search fees, it was a relief to find that with homeward legal this wasn't the case.

Its been two weeks, since i instructed the purchase of my property. I had no responses from their appointed solicitor and requests to the homeward legal team to followup appear to have been ignored. They claim to follow up and call you back but never do. The agreement was that they would endeavour to complete in 21days, and i ensured this was written in to their quotation offer so that they take this into consideration seriously. But in two weeks, the other partys solicitor have not even been approached yet. Hope this review saves someone from unnecessary hassle.
