United Kingdom | 22 October 2020Would give zero if I could. Couldn't even get past initial paperwork. Was told incorrect information by staff to then be told they were not qualified to have said what they did, whilst being treated like I had no right to feel the frustration I did for the companies incompetence. Then for members of staff to not even know who they are representing just completely took the biscuit. Didn't even get to the paperwork about my house which I am glad about. Wouldn't trust then with a takeaway order, let alone the fate of my property. Cheap, and now I know why.

United Kingdom | 14 October 2020Extremely poor communication - referred us to a completely incompetent solicitor who has been rude to estate agents and are lying about not receiving draft contracts. Since then I have made numerous attempts to call/email Homeward Legal to express our concerns and they have not responded. We will not be using them again in future.

United Kingdom | 30 September 2020I've only just instructed Homeward Legal and I have been asked for a review so can only be honest... I got two calls yesterday which were all good and asked what was most important to me. I said communication. I was promised an email confirming the instruction and the name of my solicitor within 10 minutes and I have received none. This is not a good start. Quick to take my payment though.. It's been two weeks since the above review and we are still at stage one as Homeward Legal placed us with a solicitor that was not on our mortgage provider's panel. A delay that we cannot afford right now. They did deal with the matter very quickly once the mistake was raised, however I was reassured someone was going to call me back right away to discuss options with me as I wasn't even sure I wanted to use their service anymore. No one has called me back. Not happy.

United Kingdom | 29 September 2020Homeward themselves were good in dealing with my enquiries. The solicitor they appointed didn't contact me for almost a week by which time I had appointed someone else. I took the option of the 14 day cooling off period and was refunded my deposit after a week and a number of emails and telephone calls. They were always very polite helpful. In hindsight it was easy to find a local solicitor myself at a similar cost.

Don't be fooled by the customer service response it is simply a load of LIES they do not call you back 4 hours since I last spoke to someone and 2 phone messages left but no call back. They can talk the talk but cant do the walk they cant even access your file when you do speak to them. (Rare occasion) they much prefer to take your money and run rather than provide a proper service. Just expect another bog standard response saying how important customer relationships are to them even though reviews get posted showing that they DONT CARE BUT WANT YOUR MONEY. DO YOURSELF AND YOUR MONEY A FAVOUR DONT GO NEAR THIS BUNCH OF NO HOPERS. THIS REVIEW IS WRITTEN ON DAY 2 WHICH SHOWS HOW POOR THE COMPANY IS AT CUSTOMER SERVICE IF AFTER 1 DAY ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

United Kingdom | 06 August 2020Terrible start but early days, 1 week before the 3rd party solicitor even made contact with me! They requested a further payment by a CHEQUE to begin work....who has or wants to handle these??? Still waiting for the bank details to make a bank transfer following an email and a call in.... Solicitors never answer their phone but Homeward legal do but sporadically and then they unable to help except contact them themselves. Not convinced that this is better than using your local solicitors. Will give a fuller update again at the end of the process.....

United Kingdom | 05 May 2020I had an utterly shocking time with the frankly shoddy conveyancer in-deed recommended me to, I raised a complaint back in February and in-deed haven't even come back to me with one update. I explained clearly what I wanted in terms of an explanation of what went wrong and they didn't even give me the courtesy of a response. They are cheap but they are utterly rotten.

United Kingdom | 29 March 2020I am afraid - Contrary to other website reviews - we have had a very bitter experience with KR Conveyancing.Our application was plagued with admin errors and documentation was apparently sent to wrong address to start with. After months of chasing we finally got through the work done in about 3 months. In my opinion - save your money and donot bother.

United Kingdom | 03 March 2020Don’t touch them with a barge pole! I was led to believe they were the solicitor, they are not they out source the work. The solicitor couldn’t act on our behalf as advised so I contacted homeward to advise of the situation. Tom advised that he was sure they could act on my behalf and would get back to me, but never did. I have been in touch with homeward on a dozen occasions (and spoke to someone different each time) and was and promised a call back and not one call has been received by me.... they have £120 which I can’t get back via credit card because I was not sent any terms and conditions or contract, all I was sent was a stupid little certificate stating ‘no completion no fee guarantee’ which obviously isn’t worth the paper it was written on. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY
