I was greeted by Josh in customer services who was very re-assuring and explained to me the process properly. I've rung him for a quote about 'transfer of equity' on my other property in September and had made a note of the quote and the service. Then a sale of my other property come up as an option and having looked at quotes in my city of Birmingham, (and I've rung around for 5 quotes), I went back to Josh to get a quote for sale of my property which is now going ahead. The quote was the best out of the 5, and the level of service was excellent. When the transfer of equity to my ex business partner comes around in a months or two, I'll be using Homeward Legal again. Being a professional landlady, I will definitely recommend this service to the property circle in Birmingham.

I used homeward legal to find me a solicitor for my first house purchase. I was put in contact with Garner Canning who have been awful - this was really stressful as getting contact from them was really bad. I called homeward legal to complain about this as I was really unhappy - Rachael King one of their customer service managers was in contact with me straight away to rectify this problem. She contacted them straight away and resolved the issue in a matter of days ensuring the completion went through on time. She absolutely turned this around for me and ensured that she was in contact with me daily with updates. I cant thank her enough for the support and would recommend homeward legal due to this - prior to my interaction with her the rating would have been lower! She is an asset to this company!

Please be wary of this company. I explained I was a first time buyer and really did not know the process. I was taken advantage of and asked to pay a deposit which was refundable if I did not complete. I did not have a mortgage in place and they encourage me to pay for search fees before I had this in place and heard nothing more from this company or the solicitor. Unfortunately I was unable to get a mortgage on the property I was busying. I let them know immediately that I was unable to secure a mortgage and then the next day received the searches. I am disappointing in how i was treated, especially with how I had explained that this was my first time buying a home and I was very nervous. They have refused to refund me like advertised and have said they will transfer the deposit to my next purchase or to a family or friends purchase. I do not think this is good enough as I do not have trust in this company as I feel taken advantage of. I am taking this up with the legal ombudsman so others are not taken advantage of.

I spoke with MARK who has been so helpful. He was very patient throughout the telephone conversations and put me at ease. He was very knowledgable about the conveyancing process and explained the procedure to me very well. He said i could call back if i needed to ask anymore questions. I thought he went above and beyond with his helpfullness and had a very calm friendly attitude/manner.

Absolutely shocking service, avoid at all cost! Signed up as was advised we provide a deposit of £480 and if the sale doesnt go through "no completion no fee". Firstly you get palmed off to a solicitor you have never heard of so if you base your choice on customer testimonials you are essentially crossing your fingers for a decent solicitor, secondly the sale hasn't gone through and now we are essentially being held to ransom, "what ACTUALLY happens is you have to use us on any future property purchase and this money is taken off your bill" was the first reason, "we have already carried out searches on the property" without consent/go ahead from the client or a lender in place I should add, is the second. Thankfully my partner has all calls recorded as she called from a work phone during every phonecall and none of this information was given. Long story short, they are charging us for a service we have not be provided with. We will be taking this further.

Wouldn’t recommend anyone to use homeward legal! Everything was great in the quote process to reel us in, but then our case was given to a solicitor whom has had our paperwork for 16 weeks - refuses to call us back, nevermind reply/acknowledge any emails, and is now putting our sale in jeapodary with the vendor now close to pulling out. And also put our mortgage agreement at risk due to the time taken but also filling out documentation incorrectly. Having contacted Homeward Legal about this, as the solicitor doesn’t take our stresses seriously, I’m yet to even have a call back from Tom the manager. And this was at minimum 3 weeks ago this call was “promised”. Not happy in the slightest with the customer service.

I wouldn't recommend Homeward legal, I instructed them in January and my transfer/paperwork still isn't complete. They had CS conveyancing dealing with my transfer and I have chased numerous times. This company lacks customer service and will only be slightly proactive when prompted.

I recently purchased a property and I was so pleased with how Charles looked after me that I decided to also bring my remortgage to Homeward Legal. Charles yet again has been brilliant and super supportive. If I had any queries he would resolve it. The prices really are fixed! On this second transaction, the solicitor did quoteslightly higher than what I was told but I was able to go back to homeward legal without any issues and the solicitor honoured Homeward Legal prices! You won’t go wrong going through Homeward Legal, using their services has saved me hundreds of pounds and it all comes with an excellent service! Thanks again Charles!
